My Fake Boyfriend

Chapter 14

Asher's POV:

I try to think of a plan to get my backpack back but I know that by now she must've found it and realized that it was mine.

She will never trust me again but its not like I'm gonna say anything. But I'm still pissed that shes dating that little prick Justin.

What does she see in that guy? Hes full of himself and I can tell that hes just gonna end up hurting her.

At school the next day, I decide to avoid Blair all together because I know that she will be looking for me.

But whats the big deal since they are dating now, right? But they were practically groping each other.

"Asher!" I snap out of my thoughts and look up to see Mrs. Tanner looking at me.

"Yes Mrs. Tanner?"

"Could you take this down to the attendance office?" She asks.

"Yes ma'am." I say and get up from my desk. I take the paper and walk out the classroom towards the attendance office.

Just as I am about to turn the corner, I hear voices. I peek my head around the corner and find Justin talking on the phone to someone.

"No I'm not gonna tell her you idiot! She knows me as Justin not Baylor!" He says into the phone. What? Baylor? But I thought he left. Then I remembered the text that Blair got from Baylor saying that he would be back.

Was this his comeback? No wonder he had a fake tan, blonde hair and looked like a model. He must've dyed it to make it look like it wasnt him.

He was planning this all along. All of my gut wanted to jump out there and lunge myself at him but I knew that wasnt the best thing to do right now.

I needed to tell Blair. Quickly.

I dropped the paper off at the attendance office and by the time I got back, class was over and it was lunch time. I rushed to find Blair before Justin would.

Someone grabbed me and pulled me into a classroom and shut the door. I looked down and saw Blair standing in front of me with her hands on her hips:

Gosh, she looked so hot when she acted mad and pursed her lips. It turned me on.

"I know you saw me and Justin making out." She says.

"Yeah more like taking each other's faces off." I scoff.

"Whatever. But I swear, if you tell anyone about this, I will make sure that your life is a living hell. And you can just forget about ever seeing me ever again." She threatens.

The last part makes me nervous. I couldn't face it if she never talked to me again. I couldn't bear that idea.

"Fine. I won't tell anyone. But you have to listen to me." I say.

"What?"

"I was walking in the halls today when I heard Justin talking on the phone saying to someone that he wasnt going to tell you something and that you knew him as Justin not Baylor." I tell her.

"Thats ridiculous. Hes not Baylor." She says.

"I heard it with my own ears!"

"Well you were obviously wrong!"

"Hes not right for you! Hes a bad guy." I tell her.

"Oh now I get what this is about! You're jealous of me dating Justin so you are trying to do everything you can to try and sabotage our relationship! Well guess what? Its not working." She says.

"No I swear! I'm not lying!" I say.

"Yeah right."

"I swear Blair! I would never do something like that!"

"Or would you?" She says and storms out of the room.

I knew she wouldn't believe me. I needed to come up with a way to make her see that Justin is Baylor!

Without any proof, she wouldn't give me the time of day. I would just have to let Justin destroy himself.
