I arrived at Decade Diner at exactly 2:37 o'clock. Three minutes earlier then required by my colleague who I was to meet at the diner. "Have you got a reservation?" the lady at the front of the restaurant asked me. "Yes my friend is at table 42." I explained. "Of course, continue through." She stepped aside to allow me to continue. I walked swiftly to table 42 to see my colleague sitting there. "Excuse me where might I find the manager?" I said politely. "I wouldn't know. Probably out the back." Was my colleagues reply. I smiled and sat down convinced it was her. "As you know we have a case to solve." "Do we? What is this case jaz?" I asked wondering what it was this time. "Maddy." She looked at me like I did something stupid. "It's a murder. A young couple were murdered while on their honeymoon." Jaz explained. "Hmmm. This should me an interesting one. It could be a jealousy tactic." I muttered. Jaz nodded. "May I take your order?" a waiter appeared at our table. "A glass of coca cola and a slice of vanilla cake." My colleague told the waiter who wrote it down. "So the coca cola is in a glass?" the waiter inquired. "Yes." Jaz muttered. The waiter sat down at the third seat at the table. "This is Amy. Our new assistant." Jaz explained. I nodded. "So where do we start with the murder?" I asked. "I should think the place they were murdered at. The couple were staying at the Villa near the Beachtown Resort. If we start there we might be able to find what the murderers motive and an idea of the current location." Jaz replied. "Hmmm. I've heard of the villa. It's a very expensive place to stay, so they may have a fortune the murderer wants to steal." Amy muttered to no one in particular. "That's certainly true. It's a good theory for a motive of this murder." I praised Amy. "So we will take a train tomorrow morning to the villa. We also need to find a motel to stay at tonight." Jaz said quietly. "But where is a motel around this town? I haven't seen one yet and I have been working here for a few weeks." Amy said. "Excuse me." I said to a waiter. "would you by any chance know where a motel or inn is in this town?" "why yes. My brother owns the motel, its just around the corner from the town hall." he replied. "Excellent. I know where the town hall is but i haven't been there yet, I've been meaning to have a look but i didn't have the chance." Amy said. "I just called the inn and made reservations, we are booked in the three of us." Jaz put her phone away. "Wow that was quick, i didn't even know you made the call." I replied. Jaz shrugged. "It wasn't exactly an actual conversation." "More or less yeah." I said nodding. "We should go. I'll pay the bill." Amy said walking off. When she came back we headed out of the diner and headed towards the motel.
