The motel we were staying at was the Mellon Motel. We were in room 46 which had three beds and a bathroom. There was a cupboard and a couple of chest of drawers which we ignored as we were only intending to stay one night. We did not acknowledge other people unless we had to, especially at dinner. The idea of this was so no one knew about our investigation as it was a family member of the couple's wish that it be kept private.

The motel owner asked if we knew his brother from the diner. We explained we did and he began to laugh and laugh. He was a jolly chubby old man who seemed to find everything funny. He was quirky but in a good way. We had a few conversations with him but when he began to laugh uncontrollably I made up an excuse and walked off.

The next morning we took the 326 to the beach resort which was amazing. I had never been to the beach resort and was quite amazed by how big and how many different things there were to do. "No time to be amazed. We have to get to the villa." Jaz said as she began to run. I shook my head and ran after her. We ran all the way to the villa for god knows why. "Sorry no entries." Said the police officer. Each of us showed the officer our badges to prove we were real detectives. He nodded and allowed us to pass through the barriers and continue into the villa. Police officers were everywhere examining the place. "Check for clues and evidence. You know what to do." I said. I quickly ran over to a table where a small blade was placed. I followed procedure and slipped the blade into a plastic bag and put it into my backpack. Searching around I found a few fingerprints which I quickly lifted with fingerprint tape. "There's not many clues around here." An officer said to me. "Really?" I asked surprised. "Must be one good criminal." "Yeah. Here's the address of the bodies. You should get more from them." She handed me a piece of paper. "Why would you help us?" I asked. "Because there is nothing around here except for fingerprints." She replied and walked off. "That's no real reason." I muttered to myself. "Maddy." Jaz ran over. "What did you find?" "I found a small bloody blade and a few fingerprints. Plus the address of the bodies. What did you find?" I said. "I found some hairs, a small hand gun and a few nail clippings." She replied. "Wow you did well." I added. "Amy found nothing." Jaz said. "Well shall we go?" I asked. "Go where?" Jaz asked impatiently. "To examine the bodies." I said and walked towards the front door of the villa.
