Looking around it seemed that we were on a highway. "Anyone know where we are?" dr jones asked looking around. "No, but we're on a highway. We need to get a ride to the nearest town though." I said struggling to hear anything over the traffic. "I have reception. I'll call an old friend of mine." Jaz was yelling because of the traffic. She walked off to try get some quietness so she could call her friend. I looked over at Dr Jones who merely shrugged.

Dr Jones and I sat on the grass at the side of the road. We waited for about 5 minutes before Jaz finally came back. "I just spoke to a friend of mine who is going to pick us up and drive us back home. I told him to hurry in case we are caught again by Gary and Amy." Jaz explained. "So how long are we waiting?" I asked. "I'm not sure, maybe 10 minutes." She said clearly unsure of wether it would be 10 minutes or not.

We sat around for about 15 minutes. We were starting to get ready to walk back when a small yellow ford falcon pulled up at the side of the road. Jaz jumped up. "Luke! what the hell took you so long?" she asked the guy in the car. She punched him in the face and then turned to us. "This is Luke. He is going to give us a ride home." She explained. "Yeah." Luke said rubbing his sore cheek. "Hop in." We quickly piled into the backseat. Luke drove Quickly on to the road and did a ridiculously fast u-turn. "You drive terribly." I muttered. "You do know that the truck is following us right? So shut up about the driving so we can get away!" Jaz said through gritted teeth. "Yeah actually I saw that and that's the thing! if we're driving terribly like we're in a getaway car, it means we're in it!" I yelled at her. "GUYS SHUT UP!" Dr Jones suddenly screamed. Jaz and I both stared at her, our eyes really wide. "You're both yelling about the stupid truck who saw us getting into the car, therefore knew that we are here." Dr Jones explained. "You mean you didn't say something about the truck seeing us because you thought we knew?" I asked gently. She nodded. I glanced at Jaz then back at Dr Jones. "We're sorry, we didn't realise." Jaz said.

I looked out the window to see it was getting dark. The sun was setting fast. "We need to ditch the truck. As soon as we stop they can get us again." Jaz said looking back to see if the truck was still there. "I can ditch the truck." Luke muttered. "What did you-AAAHHH!" Luke suddenly jerked the car to the left. We spun around in a long sharp u-turn on the grass. The truck attempted to follow us but toppled to the side as the truck was not built for that sort of turning that fast. "Told you I could ditch the truck." Luke said smiling when we were on the road once more.

Through the night we drove on. I slept most of the ride but was awake when we were dropped off at Dr Jones' lab. When we got to the lab it was about 5:59 so we didn't bother go to sleep. Instead we turned the TV on. The show, most wanted was on. "Alright." the guy hosting the show said. "Our next three most wanted are Jaz Vial, Maddy Zlateff, Kathryn Jones. These three are wanted by the owner of the casino: cowboys and cards. The owner, Gary Fair, as offered a ten thousand dollar reward for anyone who brings them in. Thanks for watching today's episode of-" dr jones turned the TV off. "What are we going to do, we obviously can't stay here." Jaz said. "Where can we go? what about our investigation?" I asked. "Well I don't think that-" she was cut off when a bunch of workers from the casino burst in through the door. I recognised them from when were trapped. "Put your hands up!" the woman from the bar had a gun and was pointing it at us. We put our hands up. "Tie them up. Hands, feet and then tie their waists to something heavy in the truck. I don't want them getting away." she was smiling nastily. "Yes Vira." The workers said as they dragged us to the truck. We were literally thrown inside before they tied us up with rope. Our waist were secured to the side of the truck with chains.
