I was lucky and only needed some cream for my burns. I broke my wrist but did not stay in hospital by threatening to commit suicide in the hospital to draw attention to them. They of course immediately let me leave.

I visited dr jones when I could to see how she was. She was badly hurt and was trapped in a coma. There was no way to tell when she would wake up or if she would. It was best she was asleep like she was as both her legs were broken and her left arm and right wrist were all snapped.

I found tears trailing down my face as I saw her in her hospital bed seeming dead with bandages around her broken bones. She had nurses continuously treating the harsh burns she had received from the helicopter crash.

Just to make matters worse, Maddy had been captured by Vira and Amy. I felt anger and misery as I recalled the events of that fear filled day. I knew something terrible was going to happen and I was right. My two best friends were captured and in a coma.

I stood in the middle of the footpath feeling still sad. The streets were crowded and everyone seemed to ignore me. I made no acknowledgement about anyone else. I had no intentions to and was fine with it. Realising the time, I caught a bus to the airport. I had no luggage and followed the process of going through the airport to get on my plane.

I sat alone and did not speak or acknowledge a single soul. Nor did other passengers. I slept for what I could of the flight but could not shake off my thoughts of Maddy and dr jones.

I had been on the plane for a couple of hours and slept for one. I awoke to find myself crying. Never had I felt so lonely and miserable without my friends. I thought of my childhood.

FLASHBACK:

I walked into the year 7 locker room seeing friends and a few of the boys that were so mean to me standing at their lockers chatting and getting their books out. I walked to my locker and opened it.

"Look what the cat dragged in." One of them muttered to me smirking. I ignored him and continued piling books on top of the lockers.

"Oh what's a matter stray cat bite your tongue?" his friend said walking over to join our conversation.

"No now leave me alone!" I screamed at him and grabbed my books. I quickly walked out of the locker room to line up for home group. I was fighting back tears as they talked about me and I felt alone once more.

"Is this seat taken?" I looked over to see Amy standing a safe distance away from me. I stood up glaring viciously at her. She put her hands up in surrender. "Look I quit working for Gary purely because of Vira shooting down that helicopter. How is she?" Amy meant dr jones. I calmed down and sat down. "She's in a coma." I muttered. Amy gasped and sat down. She put her hands to her face and began to cry softly. I stared at her not realising how much she really cared.

"I didn't want this to happen. Vira and Gary never tell me what's going on purely cos of trust issues." She explained.

"Vira was just supposed to capture Maddy. That was the plan. She had to go and almost kill you guys. Vira is so violent exactly like Gary. That's why I'm an outcast of our family, I'm soft compared to them all." I started to realise why Amy was so unsure about her trust. Her family rejected her and had no faith nor trust for her and so she was so cautious about who she trusted.

I looked out the window to see were above Australia and heading down to the airport.

"Where did Vira take maddy?" I asked Amy. "She took her to..."

You will have to find out in the next book where they took her. I'm sorry but you have to wait.
