We arrived at the top, behind the clock face to see the actor Lily Malith tied to the hand of the clock. "When the clock strikes 3pm she'll fall. But why?" Jaz asked Gary with slight sarcasm. "Because she is the daughter of that couple we murdered." He explained. "But why murder? well you see the couple were friends of mine who knew a secret. A secret that did not stay secret and was told. They broke the promise so I had them killed." "The actor?" I asked gesturing to the actor. "She knows the secret. So she must die." He said calmly. "How bad is the secret that people must die?" "I'm not sure. It depends how you look at it." He said as he took a step back towards the clock face. "You don't have to kill her I'm sure she won't tell." I said. "Oh no. I don't believe that. I believe she will tell!" he said his eyes wide with what was either enthusiasm or fear. "She will tell and give the clue." He said pointing accusingly at lily. "I told you the clue is gone! 'Twas stolen." Lily yelled from outside. "Clue to what?" I asked extremely confused. "Nothing! nothing within your concern." Gary said looking at me strangely. I glanced at Jaz who pointed at Gary and did an insane gesture when he wasn't looking. I nodded in agreement. "I want the clue and I intend to have it. Where is it?" Gary said calmly. "I'm not giving it to you. I intend to find it! Beside she clue was stolen. I don't know where it is." Lily said impatiently. The rope slid down the hand making her go lower. "Kill me. You'll never know wether I do have it or not." Lily said smiling. "True. Tell me where your clue is and I won't kill you. Or even harm you if you just give it to me." Gary explained still fairly calm. "Why would I do that? I need my clue. As do you clearly but I'm not prepared to give it to you. I'll die before I give it to you." Lily said extremely confident. "That can be arranged." Gary said with a slight smile on his face. "Ok I'm so confused." I said. "Your not the only one." Jaz muttered. Dr jones nodded as well. "You don't know. Your client never told you, how strange." Gary muttered. Lily stared at us. "What do you know of our client?" I asked quite shocked of his clear knowledge about it. "Your client was Cleo Brook?" lily asked. Jaz nodded. Her face had fear written all over it. "Cleo Brook knew heaps and didn't tell you. She had a full prediction on why they were murdered." Gary said. "How do you know this?" I asked this slightly trembling. "Because we had a fight about it years ago." Gary said slowly moving his head to the side. It was at that moment I realised he had moved back right to the clock face door. "Adios." Gary said as he saluted and jumped out of the clock face. Jaz swore as we ran to the little door on the clock face. We looked down to see had a parachute and was floating down gently. "That guy honestly he has that many problems. He's dangerous though. He always gets what he wants." Lily said still hanging from the clock. I cut her loose and quickly caught her and pulled her inside. Jaz hurriedly untied her. "What the hell is going on?" Jaz demanded. "Well, Gary has been getting the clues. The clues to the secret. The secret that can change the world. The clues lead you all around the world and that's why Gary was here. He'll do anything to get what he wants. To find him you need to follow the clues." Lily explained. "Here's mine. This is the second clue in god knows how many." Lily pulled a piece of paper out of a small unseen pocket in her jacket. Dr jones took it and read it aloud: "the top of Gustave's tower is where the next clue lies." Dr jones looked at me. I shrugged. I had no idea what the clue meant. "Gustave. Gustave Eiffel. The Eiffel tower! that's where will find the next clue." Jaz explained the clue. I nodded impressed. "Dr-" I began. "On it." She already had her laptop out and was searching flights to Paris. "Here we go. There's a flight on tomorrow to Paris. At 2:30pm. Is that a good flight?" dr jones read through the details of the flight and we found them acceptable. "I'll go book them now." Dr jones said and began her climb down the stairs. "I'll take lily home." I said. Jaz nodded and looked out the window of the clock face.
