At exactly 1:28 we took the 742 to the casino. They didn't allow us in without showing them some id.
While inside we acted as normal as we could while spying around for anything suspicious.
"Nothing's normal." Dr Jones muttered. I glanced at her. "What do you mean?" "have a look around. Everything Is so calm and balanced. There is definitely something wrong here. It's almost as if they are too scared to argue or something." Dr jones explained. Jaz nodded. "Yeah she's right. It's way too calm for a famous casino. Let's go to the bar, talk to the server." Jaz said quietly. "Talk very quietly about this. You never know what's here."
We walked slowly and calmly towards the bar. We sat at the red stools and sat there calmly and silently. "Would you like anything?" the woman behind the bar asked. "Yes we would. We would like to know if there is anything strange about this casino." Jaz said. The woman raised an eyebrow. "This whole casino is 'strange', that's all I can tell you." She said smirking. "Anything linked to the moon murder?" I asked. The news had described the murder as the 'moon murder'. We were hoping for that to be a link. "Maybe." The woman muttered and walked off.
"Well that's a yes then." Amy said. I nodded in agreement. "We better go somewhere else. She's getting suspicious." I said. "Very."
We quickly walked off and looked around to see what else there was in the Casino. I glanced back. The woman was on the phone whispering and continuously glancing back at us. I looked at Jaz. She nodded quickly.
"I have to go to the bathroom." I said. "Me too." Jaz added. We walked to the bathroom and before entering, looked around to see if anyone was following us. No one was.
When inside we looked to see if each door was unlocked. When we were convinced no one was there, we began to talk about the casino.
"There is definitely something weird going on with this casino." Jaz said. "Yeah. That woman from the bar, she was calling the boss." I said fixing my hair while looking in the mirror. While the others continued to talk, I glanced in the mirror at the cubicle behind us. The door had begun to open. I could just see the holster of the gun. "Duck!" I screamed as a woman shot a bullet it hit the mirror. The others had ducked just in time. "What the hell is going on here?" Jaz asked as she pulled a gun out of her jacket pocket. "You brought guns?" I hissed. She nodded and threw one to me and Amy. Dr jones shook her head. "I don't want a gun!" "Take the fricken gun!" Jaz yelled at her. I stared at Jaz. She rarely got angry like she did. Dr jones reluctantly took the gun. 'pewww'. A bullet flew past our heads and hit he mirror again. I kicked the cubicle door open. The woman was standing on the toilet gun ready. Each of is had our guns pointed at her. She smiled and waved before she dived over the wall into the next cubicle. I took a few shots at her but missed. We ran slamming the doors open. She dived over and over until she ran out the door. "Let's go. We need to catch her!" Amy yelled. We ran out the door to find that the place was empty. "Where is everyone?" I asked. Wrong question. 'Pewww'. A bullet flew near us and ricocheted off the wall. "Take cover!" Jaz yelled as bullets began flying from everywhere. We hid behind the slot machines frantically looking everywhere for where the shots were coming from. "we need to go." I whispered. "No you think?" Amy whispered back. I stuck my head around the corner to check if the coast was clear. My answer was bullets ricocheting off the slot machines. "Who the hell are you?" I yelled at them. "we are a casino!" a man shouted back. "As if!" I screamed back. "Who are you?" the man shouted. "We are investigating the murder of the young couple who were murdered while on their honeymoon." Jaz explained. We heard them laughing. "You detectives are never gettin' out of here!"
