Chapter 17

Amy's p.o.v

Vira eyed me suspiciously. "What side are you on? you hinted them about the clock, they never would've figured that out." Vira was not convinced I was with them. "I didn't-" I began to protest. "Oh save it for someone who you can fool." Vira cut in. "I have no idea what your playing at, but you need to figure what side you're on."

Vira was getting suspicious. If she was then others had to be. "Figure out what side you're on and stick to it." Vira threatened before walking out of the room I was staying in. I sighed and got out my laptop. I checked the surveillance cameras I had set up in Big Ben. "The top of Gustave's tower is where the next clue lies." I heard dr jones read the clue aloud. "So the Eiffel Tower is next." I smiled. "The 2:30pm flight they are taking I see. I might jump on that plane as well." I muttered and packed my laptop in to my suitcase. "No one will guess. Vira won't care and neither will Gary. All is well at the moment and I know where to go." I thought. "Maybe." I muttered aloud. I grabbed my suitcase and went out of the current building we were staying at. I broke into one of the cars and managed to Hotwire it and drive off before anyone even noticed.

I drove to the airport where I got tickets and dressed up in one of my many disguises. I saw Jaz, Maddy and dr jones making their way to the plane. I followed them carefully and eavesdropped all the while they talked. I even sat behind them ok the plane to make sure I got every detail.

"The Eiffel Tower is where the next clue is supposedly hidden. We need to climb up there and find that clue before Gary does." I heard Maddy explain. Jaz nodded. "He might be there already, which is why we should have taken an earlier plane." "What about Amy? she gave us a clue to where to go and disappeared." Dr jones asked. "I do not understand that girl." Jaz muttered. "Agreed." Maddy mumbled. "Excuse me?" I said in my best French accent. "Would you be going to Paris? are you going to see Eiffel tower?" "yeah we are and we are hopin' to climb it as well." Jaz explained. "Enjoy it, for I find it quite ze amazing experience." I said smiling politely. "Thank you." Maddy said smiling back. "I'm going to go and get something to eat." I said still smiling and hopped out of my chair and walked off to find food. "I just got their plans. Perhaps Gary would like to know." I sighed. "Perhaps is right." I turned around to see Vira standing in a corner. "Eiffel Tower." I muttered and continued walking. Vira got her phone out and began to contact Gary. "They'll thank me for it one day." I muttered continuing through the plane.

I had my suspicions that Gary had people on the plane. I was right. Vira, jenny and David were on the plane for Gary. I was beginning to go back to my seat when I realised I had gotten up for food. I grabbed a plate of biscuits and went and sat down back in my spot. Dr jones was asleep and Jaz and Maddy were muttering to each other. I could not hear them so decided to interrupt. "Would you like a biscuit?" I asked in my French accent. They stopped and turned around. I held the plate in front of them. "Why not." I heard Jaz say. Maddy nodded a thanks and grabbed a biscuit. They began to talk a little louder but I still could not hear. "She... Amy... perfect way to..." I caught some of what Maddy had said. I thought she was getting suspicious. She continued to glance at me and was talking quietly to Jaz. I thought for a while wondering what to do about all the enemies on the plane. "Do you know a person called Veira?" I asked Jaz and Maddy. "Do you mean Vira? yeah we know her, is she on the plane?" Jaz asked. "Maybe. I know a Veira and she is on this plane it might be ze one you know, for she mentioned a jazmine and a Maddy. I think she means you." I explained. They whispered a few words and got up. "Do you think you can watch our friend?" Maddy asked gesturing to dr jones. I nodded smiling as they walked off to find Vira. I laughed to myself knowing Vira would call for backup and they would fight it out for a while. I walked the opposite way they had went and headed to the cockpit to talk to the pilot.

"Would you have a working parachute?" I asked. "Yeah over there but-" the captain was cut short as I grabbed the parachute and walked to the emergency exit. I saluted and leaped out knowing we were above Paris. I had no intention of waiting to arrive at the airport and parachuted down.

When I landed I could see that the plane had just begun to head down to the airport. I smiled to myself thinking about how easy it all seemed. Too easy almost. I had my intentions and I was ahead anyway. No one who knows about the clues could get there first unless Jaz and Maddy parachuted, but dr jones would never do it. So they would have to wait. I smiled and dropped the parachute. I walked towards the Eiffel Tower where I intended to go.

I hope you liked this chapter, it was a bit of a special one from Amy's point of view to see what she is doing. The next chapter will come out soon and will be from maddy's p.o.v again like all other chapters unless it says up top who's point of view.
