League of extraordinary gentleman

Chapter 3

I was reading some Celtic mythology book that Nemo somehow had with him. The part I had been reading was about banshees when the room started to shake. I thought nothing of it til it came again.

I ran down the hall just to see ape man in chains swinging the chain around almost hitting everyone's head. I mentally tighten the chain and it did.

" Mr.Hyde , are you going nice?" I asked.

He looked at me and laughed.

" Was just giving them a good scare," he said.

I loosen the chains.

"That's quite the parlor trick you have there," Dorain said.

" really wait til you see my next one ," Hyde said.

Then he grunted in pain and transformed back into Dr. Henry Jekyll. He stood there chain free and holding up his pants that were stretched out.

Then I had a vision; Venice kept popping up then blurry burrels.

I snapped out of it when Nemo announce we got three days to get to Venice.

" Three days. can this canoe do that?" Tom asked.

" You underestimate her greatly," Nemo replied.

Day 3 I think

I was on the top deck enjoying the oceans breeze before we were force to go under again.

I wore my Sunday dress which was plain brown with white lace since it was Sunday and I prayed for my family's safety.

my hair was down save that my bangs were pulled back.

Nina commented that she never knew I brought a dress to the trip.

" Well always come prepared," I said.

" I wanted to tell that your blood, it smells strange to me," she said.

I looked at her.

" Really? how ? " I asked. my eyebrow crunched together.

" It smells sweet and pure," she said.

I looked at her.

" Well I did help with apple's if that what you mean," I said.

she shook her head.

Dorain came and excuse myself to get away from him.

Again I don't trust him.

I look over to see the doctor ,who is the complete opposite of Hyde, and Skinner possibly talking about the latter condition.

Tom and Quatermaine were talking about something which Tom didn't seem interested in. He kept staring at me for which I smiled at him in hello.

Quatermaine said something that made Tom frown.

then mina wanted to go inside and Tom decided to help her. I couldn't hear what was being said but it looked like he was being rejected which I felt sad bit found funny for some reason .

Nemo announced that it was time to go under and we all headed in.

I started to get a headache , so I decided that I was going to sleep it off.

bad idea.

I had a nightmare.

Blood was everywhere, screaming everything was on fire. people dead in the streets. Fantom laughing at me then smiled as if I was as an object ready to be played with. I had a collar around my neck and he had the chain that connects to it in his hand he pulled on it and I was forced to come closer to him. I fought then my leg broke and I fell , next to Zachary who lied dead next to me. I screamed.

Apparently that grabbed the attention of the whole ship. And Tom ran in to wake me up.

I woke up and Tom pulled me into a hug. All around us , any thing that was glass was broken.

I looked around and the rest of league except for Skinner was at the door.

" Extraordinary," Nemo said

We were in the other room and that we talking about my scream.

" I got it. She's a banshee," Dorian said.

we all looks at him.

" What else explains the visions, telekinesis and the scream," he defended

" that would explain why her blood smells different" mina thought," but now a days they are so rare for some reason."

" But why now?" I asked.

" I don't know maybe something triggered the scream power ," Dr.Jekyll said," it would possibly laid dominate for year then something scared her like a nightmare triggered it."

I thought about the image of Zachary laying on the ground dead with his neck broken.

" Your thinking of it know aren't you Virgina ," Nemo said .

I nodded .

I told them of the nightmare and when I mentioned the look Fantom gave me, Tom's face turns dark and his fist tighten in his arms which were folded.

" Whose Zachary ? a lover?" Dorain teased.

I glared.

" my baby brother who just turned five ," I said .

He looked sad but it was gone as soon as it came.

" Well maybe you can help us with Venice then," Quatermaine said. I smiled and nodded.

Tom walked me to my room.

" I saw that look you gave when I mention the look from the dream," I said

He looked at me with his face all red.

" To me it sounded like the look of lust like the one from Dorian s parlor that the Fantom gave you," he said.

" Well he won't get me, I have these gifts , the league and you help me," I said , smiling.

He chuckled.

we arrived at my room and i was about to head in when he stopped me.

"Ginny," he said," You know that I will be withheld you no matter what , to protect you right ? "

I nodded. He cups my face with one hand.

"Can I try something ?"

I nodded.

He leans in and kisses me in the lips.

They were soft and I melted . I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer. his moves one hand to my waist and the one that cupped my face to the back of my head.

We pulled away , breathlessly.

" Woah," we both said, smiling .

his hand were at my waist as he looked at me .

"You know I always thought you were beautiful for an English girl," he said.

I blushed and said," and I always thought that you were handsome for an American."

He smiled as he leaned on again

my hand moved to his chest as he kissed me again

that was my first kiss and it was amazing
