Oh gods....
I pulled away from Adonis, blushing as Percy came striding up to me and grabbing my arm.
"Come on, Nahla." Percy hissed in my ear.
"Why?" I asked genuinely confused.
"That's Adonis James." Percy said. Yea like that explains everything.
"Excuse me, but Nahla and I were on a DATE!" Adonis said through gritted teeth. I looked back and forth between the two boys. Something had happened between these two and I was determined to find out what! Without another word I stomped off to the Poseidon cabin and immediately got ready for bed.

Minutes later, Percy came through the door.
"Nahla I-" he began, but I held up my hand.
"Percy, I'm exhausted. It's been a long day and I am going to bed." I said boredly. To make a point I shuffled to my bed and flopped down on it falling asleep.

The next morning I went to find Dawn to tell her EVERYTHING that had happened.
When I found her I saw her kissing someone. Oh geez another boyfriend that will only last her a week. As I walked closer I saw a very familiar face kissing my best friend!
"ADONIS?!?!?" I shrieked. I felt the tears starting to form in my eyes and had to blink to hold them back. He would not see me cry, ever.
"Nahla?" he asked looking shocked.
"What the Hades?" I cried out.
"What's the matter?" he asked.
"WHATS THE MATTER?!? YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SAID WE WENT ON A DATE LAST NIGHT! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO KISSED ME TWICE! I THOUGHT YOU LIKED ME!!" the tears were getting harder and harder to hold in.
Adonis didn't look away, he didn't even look sorry. "Why would I like you?" he sneered.
"You're nothing compared to Dawn." he said, "She's beautiful. And you? Well lets just say that you're lucky to have those pretty green eyes, because that's all you have that's remotely attractive."
I couldn't believe it. I knew the truth. I knew I was never pretty compared to Dawn, but hearing it out loud made the wound grow deeper.
I looked at Dawn who didn't look very sorry, or remotely angry about this! She looked at me sadly, as if i was just a naive girl who had just learned the truth about her best friend and the boy she liked..... Oh wait, that's what I was. A naive girl who is too clueless to see that this boy played her and I'm not even sure why.
Without another word I ran to the Poseidon Cabin, the tears started flowing freely as soon as I had turned around and I hadn't wanted anyone to see me cry.
Percy came in an hour later.
"Nahla! Why weren't you at sword training?" He asked. I turned to look at him and once he saw my tear stained face he immediately brought me into a giant hug. And I'm not going to lie, I started bawling into his shoulder and it made me feel slightly better.

A/N: I HATE ADONIS!!! KILL HIM!!!!!! Yea, I'm the author I may or may not have planned this...... but I still feel for Nahla! THAT BACKSTABBING- I'm gonna quiet down and continue on with my a/n!
