Forever Alone?

Abby’s Point of View
“Were have you been, Sugar Plum.” My Dad slurred. I quickly walked past him, smelling the booze on his breath. “I asked you a f*cking question!” he boomed, grabbing my wrist and twisting it so I would face him. I winched in pain and then slowly replied “I was at the hospital visiting my friend. I lost track of time, I promise it won’t happen again.”
He pushed me against the wall, getting inches from my face. “God knows it won’t happen again.” Then he slapped me right across the face. I felt the tears well up in my eyes, as the right side of my face burned.
“Don’t cry you f*cking little B*tch.” Then he kneed me in the stomach, causing me to fall to the ground. “Don’t move you little c*nt, or I’ll get the belt.”
I laid on the ground for what felt like a hundred life times, waiting for him to pass out. I slowly raised my hand to feel my cheek; it still stung, and was starting to swell up.
“You know you’re just a big mistake.”He started. “Me and your mother never wanted kids, hell I never wanted to get married. But I got her knocked up and got stuck with the two of you.” I felt the anger rise inside me.
“F*ck you, you b*sterd.” I yelled slowly standing up. His eyes went huge, turning into saucers. “What did you say little b*tch?” My dad slurred.
“F*ck.You.You.B*sturd.” I screamed. Before I knew it he was charging towards me like a rodeo bull. With all my strength I shot up the stairs, and into my room, locking the door behind me, and putting all my weight on it. I quickly pulled out my cell phone, and dialed 911.
“911, what’s your emergency?” I woman said on the other line.
“My dad’s drunk, and he beat me up. I have no idea where my mom is. Please help.” I pleaded to her. “What’s your address?” the 911 operator asked. “555 Ranger Way.” I replied quickly. “Were sending help now.” She replied.
I sat in a ball for what felt like hours on my bedroom carpet. Finally the cops arrived, kicking down our front door. My dad kept cussing them out, trying to prove to them he wasn’t drunk. I was surprised they didn’t pepper spray him.
After they finally got him out of the house, they came and found me. “Hello honey. You need to come outside. Your mother wants to see you.” I rolled my eyes, she was the last person I want to see.
When I got out front I stomped up to her, she was waving goodbye to my dad. I instantly felt sick to my stomach. She was letting the cycle start all over again.
“Divorce him, or I’m leaving.” I growled. When she turned around her face was cover in bruises.
“Abby he’ll get bett-“ I cut her off. “Save it Mom.” I stormed down the sidewalk, not knowing where to go, since it was 3 in the morning.
My phone started buzzing in my pocket, and I was I ready to throw it across the street, until I saw James’ name come across the screen.
“Hello?” I said into my phone, my voice shakier then an earthquake.
“Hurry and get to the hospital, Shane woke up.”
So I don’t think I wrote this that well, so I’m sorry about that. But it had to be done. I’m loving summer vacation! I actually have time to write! –Dayna(:
