Forever Alone?

Shane’s Point Of View

“Where’s my blue sundress?” My big sister Emily asked, barging into my room. I sat on my bed for a minute; racking my brain for answers, but I still had no clue what the hell she was talking about. And then it hit me that was the dress Abby wore home that day after the party. But I couldn’t tell Emily that. “Maybe it’s at your dorm.” I replied smoothly, hoping she’d drop it.

“Oh well there’s something we need to talk about.” Emily said sitting down next to me. “So the thing is, I’ve been dating this guy since freshmen year. His name is Todd and he’s a really great guy. And I think it’s time you meet him.” Emily said as if she had been stuck by cupid’s arrow. I tried my best not to roll my eyes. Emily always falls for the jerks and I bet Todd’s no different.

“He’s coming over tonight for a nice home cooked dinner. So please Shane, be nice.” I could hear the begging in her voice. “We’ll see.” I replied, grabbing my car keys, and heading out the door.

As I drove down the highway, my phone kept going off, the song Lollipop by Framing Hanley filling up the car. “Hello.” I said into my old beat up IPhone.

“I thought you were taking me to the movies.” Abby mumbled on the other line. Ever since the Party last month, me and Abby became close friends, hanging out all the time. Even me and James made up, and he promised not to try anything with Abby again.

And with me and Abby being friends, there are plenty of rumors. No one can believe that Shane Wilson is friends, and only friends with a girl. They all assume that were friends with benefits or that Abby has some special touch and “tied me down.” The best rumor is that Abby’s pregnant with my triplets, and were going to run off to the Bermuda Triangle together.

‘Sorry, I’m running late, my sister’s in town, and she need to talk to me. I’ll be there in 15.” I replied to Abby.

“Okay just wanted to make sure our plans were still in tacked, see you soon.” Abby said, and you could hear the smile one her face before she hung up. Right as I slid my phone back into my pockets, rain started pouring down in buckets. I hate driving in the rain, feels like I’m drowning.

My phone started going off again but this time it was the song Home also by Framing Hanley, which means Emily texted me. I then pulled out my IPhone again, and clicked read. Emily’s text read-

Shane Idc where you ran off to, just be home by 6. That’s when Todd should be here. Love Ya Little Bro. I rolled my eyes at the thought of meeting another one of the boyfriends, and threw my phone in the passenger’s seat, and putting my attention back on the road.

As soon as I looked up, the car started skidding, and I hit my breaks, turning the wheel, trying to avoid other cars. I could hardly see in front of me, with the rain on my windshield. Bright lights of a semi appeared right in front of me. “F*ck!”

Well I guess this is shorter the usual. I was sitting for like a hour trying to figure out what to do with this chapter. So I was like why not introduce Shane’s sister! Lame. I know. Ooo and a cliff hanger… :D So feedback? Also I wanted to let anyone who has every read one of my chapters of either of my stories know…I LOVE YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ MY CRAPPY STOIRES. –Dayna(:
