Forever Alone?
Fifteen
Abby’s Point of View
“So you’re going to a wedding, and you need a dress?” Jenna asked, as me, Annie, and her rifled trough racks of dresses. ”Yeah and the dress needs to be cute, but classy because its suppose to be a very formal wedding.” I replied. There was most likely hundreds of racks here at Sadie’s Dress Parlor, and we were going to be here for hours.
When I finally go to the dressing room, there were about 50 dresses joining me. When I came out in dress number one, both Annie, and Jenna gagged. When I came out in dress number seven, Jenna said I looked like a hooker. By dress number twenty five, we were all rabid at each other. When I reluctantly put on dress number thirty two Annie said I look like a fire truck that was on fire, which would be fine, if I was going to a club and not a wedding. And dress number forty five, Jenna said I looked pregnant, talk about awkward.
Right when we were about to give up, a tall sales girl came up handing me a dress. When I first saw the dress, dangling of the hanger, I thought no way is this going to look even decent one me.
But when I walked out of the dressing room, everyone’s mouth dropped. Annie’s, Jenna’s, the sales girl’s, and even mine. The dress hung perfectly on my hips, and the color blue it was, went perfect with my skin tone. I also had the cutest silver heart shaped locket at home that would to perfect with the dress. And I saw some silver ballerina flats at Payless that I’ve had my eyes on. I was going to look cute, classy, and formal.
Once I paid for the dress, the three of us headed over to our favorite place, Starbucks. We each got our frappuccino's and sat at our regular table.
“So Annie how have you been?” I said, sipping my drink. She’s honestly been a whole different person since she got the abortion. “I’ve been great considering…” Annie replied trailing off. “Well its expected…” I added. “What the hell is up with you two, and what are you talking about?!” Jenna barked, she was obviously getting mad, because she was out of the loop. “You didn’t tell her?” I asked Annie. “Um no.” Annie replied flatly. “Well why don’t you tell me now?” Jenna said. I could tell she was getting really fired up, but the way she was violently twirling her hair. Annie abruptly stood up, and stormed out of Starbucks.
“Um I got to get home, I promised my mom I would help cook dinner.” I said to Jenna. “Let me drive you home.” Replied Jenna.
The car ride was quite as hell, and right as Jenna parked her Red Mustang out front my house, she grabbed my arm and blurted, “I cheated on Justin with Ben, Annie’s Ben.”
I felt my mouth drop, and immediately jumped out of the car, and spirited to my house.
My two best friends, always keeping secret from each other, and always putting secrets on my very own weak shoulders. And I was getting sick and tired of it.

Well this chapter sucked. Or at least it did to me. So I’m sorry about that. But I’m excited for the next two or three chapters! But to be honest recently, I’ve wanted to go back and continue writing Over My Head. Oh Well! –Dayna(:
