He led you out to his car and you hopped into the passenger seat. He hopped into the driver's seat and started the car. Silence. He had the car running but he wasn't moving. You tried to sneak a glance at him but realized he was just staring right at you.

"Uh what are you doing, Seb?" you asked, your heart pounding faster.

He looked like he was thinking about doing something.

You gulped as he continued to stare at you.

"Earth to Seb..?" you asked, waving your hand in front of his face.

In an instant he grabbed it and was holding your wrist. Then he was staring into your eyes intently.

And at your lips.

Had you suddenly gotten closer to him??

And then the next second he looked confused.

He released his grip on your wrist and you set it on your lap.

"Sorry...I-I don't really know what I was doing there," he mumbled.

'Pretty sure you were thinking about kissing me, maybe making out right in your car' you thought.

Why had he stopped...?

Not that you had wanted him to continue...you couldn't want that.

You weren't supposed to like him.

He was super annoying...

"Are you going to get this car moving or are we just going to sit here all night?" you asked.

"Oops," he snapped out of his daze.

Daze?!

Since when did Seb zone out...and he seemed...flustered...

He pulled out of the parking spot.

"Seb is something wrong?" you asked.

"No but there's something wrong with you if you think you can call me Seb. That name is reserved for friends only," he replied, suddenly turning bitter.

"Excuse me?" you gave him a look.

"Really, (y/n)? Don't pretend we are friends. Sure, we work together. I helped you out when you were drunk. I'm doing you a favor by taking you to your car-"

"Which you didn't even have to do, Sebastian. I could've taken an Uber," you interrupted.

"Yeah but even with that, that doesn't make us friends. Do you know anything about me, (y/n)? Nope. Friends talk about that sort of stuff. What we are is work associates," he said.

"Oh i know PLENTY about you, Sebastian. I know that you're a no good, annoying, arrogant, cocky, rotten PLAYER who is probably just taking me in your car so you can get into my pants. Or was that not what you were doing when you were looking into my eyes? Were you not thinking about grabbing my face and kissing me and maybe even going further? Right in the parking lot? Well that was a foolish thought, Sebastian. Cuz there's no way that would ever happen. I have a boyfriend, remember? Someone who is actually kind and sweet- maybe you can take a couple lessons from him because those are exactly the attributes you lack!" you were shouting by now.

"So taking you home when you were drunk? That's not kind or sweet?" he asked, after looking speechless.

"No- like you said, that was just something that a work associate did. We aren't friends, remember? Do you forget so quickly?" you said.

"Well since you clearly don't want to spend a second more with this hideous monster and I can't take another second of you...." he said as he began pulling to the side of the road, "Get. out."

"Excuse me?"

What the heck?!

"You heard me. Get out of the car. Take an Uber. You're sick of me and I'm sick of you. Problem solving here," he said coldly.

"I honestly don't understand you. One second you're all nice and then suddenly your mood just changes? Like you seemed fine until suddenly you were so triggered by me calling you Seb. Whatever, though. I'd be happy to get out of this car. Bye, Sebastian," you opened the door, gathering your things.

"The cars in the parking lot right up there," he said.

You didn't bother saying thanks, you just slammed the door behind him and began walking away as quickly as possible.

What the actual heck had just happened there??

[Seb POV]

I wanted her.

I wanted her so bad.

But she had a boyfriend.

I couldn't have her.

That's why I had to make her hate me.

I could tell my words had hurt her, and her words stung me, too.

She really was angry with me...

but it was easier that way...
