You walked out to your car, Chris following close behind. You hopped in and started the car as he hopped into the passenger seat.

"Anywhere in mind?" you asked, looking over at Chris.

You never imagined he would be in your car and yet, here he was.

"I'll let you decide...show me your favorite place to eat," he replied.

"Chris, for starters, you should know that I'm horrible at favorites and decisions for that matter," you said with a smile as you began driving.

"Good to know, I, too, suck at decisions," he answered.

"So we may be driving around for a while," you added.

"That's alright with me," he replied with a smile.

You went out to lunch at a place that you really liked and were bombarded with people like usual. After, you both went to a nearby mall and bought hats and sunglasses so that people would hopefully not recognize you. You laughed with Chris a majority of the time- he was actually really funny and really sweet.

You didn't even notice as the day began to get later and later- time seemed to fly when you were hanging out with him.

"Whoa," you said as you hopped into the car and saw the time, "It's already 5:00??"

"Yep. We made it back in the car just in time for L.A. traffic," Chris replied.

"Great. So where do you want to go now?"

"I would suggest my house but it's probably very out-of-the-way so maybe we can just go to your house and I can call a cab or something. I don't want to be a burden," he said.

You were going to object, but he did have a point, "Okay."

***

You arrived at your house and pulled into the driveway. You both hopped out of the car and walked inside.

"So, this is the place," you said as you walked in and into the kitchen.

It was 6:30 now- the traffic had been horrible.

"So, uh, are you planning on staying a while or are you going to call a cab now?" you asked, hesitantly.

"I don't know, whatever you want me to do," he replied.

"I think...you should stay...and maybe we can cook dinner together," you suggested.

"Oh?" he replied, raising his eyebrows.

You smiled and walked over to your fridge as you thought about what you could make.

"Let's make spaghetti and salad," you finally said.

"Sounds good," he replied, as you began getting out all the stuff you needed.

You began chopping things for the salad as he started making the spaghetti. When both of you were finally finished, you pulled out plates and cups for water and served yourself. Then, you both decided to screw the table and sat on your couch as you ate.

"You want to watch a movie?" you finally suggested after much too long of a silence.

"This day is just never coming to an end, is it?" Chris asked.

"Oh-shoot- sorry...if you have to go, then that's fine..." you stammered.

"No, we can watch a movie," he said with a smile.

You stood up.

You were done with your food and so was Chris so you grabbed both of your plates and walked them over to the sink.
