The rest of rehearsals that day went painfully long.

Scene after scene with Sebastian.

You were glad that none of them involved too much physical contact.

Would you even be able to handle that?

It was the end of the day and you were walking out when you rammed right into Chris. What?!

"Chris...what are you doing here...?" you asked, confused.

He had been gone all day and now finally decided to show up?!

"Just had to talk to the director for a little. Do you think you could wait for me and maybe we could get ice cream or something?" Chris offered.

"Consider it a date," you replied with a smile.

He smiled and walked past you, leaving you smiling like an idiot.

Finally, something with this day could go well. You stood where you were because he had told you to wait.

"Well what do we have here?" a voice said and you turned to see Sebastian walking towards you.

Your heart immediately picked up speed.

"Did you enjoy all our quality time together today?" he asked.

"On the contrary, i found it quite the opposite," you replied, your eyes challenging his.

He had been standing a few feet away when he stepped closer to you, so close that you took a step back, only to hit the wall. He put one hand on the wall by your head and his left hand suddenly slid onto your waist.

Your breath caught and you couldn't find the words to ask him to move away.

His eyes were holding contact with yours when they broke contact and took a long look at your lips, "You sure you're not enjoying this? I know your hearts racing."

You shoved him away, "Now how would you know that?!" you asked angrily.

"I didn't, but your reaction proves my point," he said, a grin forming across his face as he turned and walked away from you, leaving you speechless.

You and Chris went out for ice cream and afterward he had driven you home like a completely gentleman. You were in the car in your driveway when you looked over at him, "Thanks for tonight, Chris. I had fun."

"Me too," he replied. Your heart was racing as silence took over the car.

You could cut the tension with a knife.

You could feel his eyes on you and you looked over at him.

He looked away, shy.

"Well...I'll see you tomorrow," you said as you turned, opening the car door and stepping out.

You didn't look back as you began to walk towards your house.

Suddenly you heard a car door open and slam shut and the shuffling of feet towards you. You turned around to see Chris rushing towards you.

"What?" you asked, confused.

But he reached you in a second and suddenly his hands were on your face and he pulled your lips to his. The kiss was a mix of tender and passionate, soft but filled with desire. But he pulled away before you could enjoy it long enough.

"Sorry...I-I had to do that before I lost the courage," he stammered, his eyes wandering.

"Just kiss me, Chris..." you said with a smile, wrapping your arms around his neck and standing on your toes as your lips met for a second time.

He kissed you passionately, taking your breath away as his hands wrapped around your waist and held your body securely to him. You ran your fingers through his soft hair as he kissed you, your heart racing a mile a minute.

Suddenly, a phone ringing interrupted.

Chris pulled away and you internally pouted as he picked up his phone and held it to his ear, "Hello? --- Oh, hi --- Yes. --- Will do. --- On my way..."

He hung up and turned to you, "I'm sorry...I have to go."

"Oh..." you said, chewing on your lip, "Okay."

"I'll...see you tomorrow," he said, the corners of his lips slowly starting to grin as he gave you a pat on the back and slowly started walking back to his car.

You hurried after him, "What? No goodbye kiss?"

"If I kiss you, I don't think i'll be able to stop," he replied.

"What's wrong with that?" you responded.

"I have to go, (y/n). I'll see you tomorrow," he said, opening his car door, "Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

He closed the door, starting his car.

You watched him pull out of the driveway and drive off before you finally turned around and decided to go inside...

What a night.
