Thunder boomed and you realized you should probably get out of the rain. Sebastian realized this too because he pulled away from the hug.

He took your arm and walked with you back to his car. He helped you into the passenger seat and closed the door behind you, and then got into the drivers seat.

He began to drive and you couldn't help but notice your heart thumping extra loud in your chest.

After what happened with Chris, every time you were in a car you were a little terrified...more so when you were driving, but you hadn't driven since the accident so...

"I don't think it's a good idea for you to be alone, (y/n)," he said softly, looking over at you worriedly.

You sighed but kept your mouth shut.

But you knew he was right.

Every time you were alone, your thoughts would tear you up even more.

"Do you wanna stay at my place for a little while until you are feeling better? I'm sure we could both use the company," Sebastian offered.

It seemed like a nice gesture.

And the truth was, you wanted to.

You wanted to have someone there for you.

But you couldn't sound so eager, "Yeah, sure, I guess...but what about all my stuff?"

"We can stop by your house and you can get anything you need," he suggested and you nodded.

You looked out the window as both of you went quiet.

You watched the droplets race down the window.

But with the silence, came the opportunity for your thoughts to devour you.

Slowly some started creeping in until you cried out loud.

'It's all your fault he's dead'

'You could've stopped it'

'why don't you just kill yourself- you're the one who should've died anyway.'

Sebastian slammed on the brakes and looked over at you worriedly, "Are you okay?"

You started crying and he looked even more worried.

"I hate the silence. Too much room for thoughts. Can we just talk, please?" you peeped out.

"Sure, of course," Sebastian said, and began driving again, "So, what do you want to talk about?"

You got to his house.

You had grabbed everything that you could possibly need. You had no idea how long you would be staying at his house or how long you would need it. You were pretty messed up right now- you couldn't imagine ever being better....

You were freezing cold because you were still wearing your wet clothes. Sebastian helped you set down your stuff and took your arm and led you to his bathroom.

He handed you a towel and said, "Here, how about a hot shower?"

"What about you?" you asked- his teeth were chattering and he was also soaking wet.

"I'll wait till after you," he replied.

"Are you sure? It is your shower..." you hesitated.

"Go. shower," he insisted, giving you a little push into his bathroom.

You nodded and closed the door behind you.

You looked at yourself in the mirror.

You were a complete disaster.

You turned on the shower and waited for it to warm up as you peeled off your clothes and hung them up on little pegs on the wall.

Then you were stepping into the shower.

The burning hot water hit your skin, but it felt so good.

You washed your body and your face and your hair, and cried too, trying to leave behind all that you could...

When you finished, you wrapped the towel around your body and found another for your hair. You realized that you had forgot to grab dry clothes so you would have to walk out of the bathroom to get them...

You slowly opened up the door and walked out. Sebastian had changed his clothes and was sitting on his bed, flipping through channels. You looked around but didn't see where your stuff was.

"Where are my clothes?" you asked, and Sebastian looked up at you.

And then he was glancing down at you only wearing a towel.

Your cheeks didn't even burn...

"On and in the dresser, genius," he said.

You turned your head and there was all your stuff.

Whoops.

You walked over to it and found some clothes and grabbed them quickly, scurrying back into the bathroom. You quickly changed and then were walking out of the bathroom.

You hopped onto the bed with Seb. He had stopped flipping so you assumed he had found something to watch. Except it was commercials currently.

"So, what are we watching?" you implored.

"Wonder woman," he replied.

"OOH ITS ON TV?" you asked.

"No- I just said it was but it's actually not," he said sarcastically.

You rolled your eyes and playfully slapped him.

"There's the (y/n) I know and love," he said, and you could see his eyes widen as he realized his words slipped, but you tried to ignore them.

Tried.

But the back of your brain was repeating the word over and over.

Love....
