peer pressure is a hallmark of an adolescent's experience,
for we are still inexperienced,
they shall be our biggest influence,
be aware not to be easily influenced,
by all the wrong doings,
as we are often risk taking,
obscure yet quick in decision making,
as for values, taste, appearance, ideology and style,
we might tend to copy theirs for a while,
sometimes the pressure is so great,
we have no choice but to follow their traits,
to behave, act, think and simply look a certain way,
perhaps all about the nasty words we'd say,
all the provocative actions we'd make,
all the rules we might break,
all the proper clothes we might not want to wear,
and going to places we know we're prohibited to be there.
these tensions among us,
among society today in which pressures us,
changing our positive decisions into negative ones,
to have us confused as ever,
making us wonder,
if our actions today is all that matters,
because our desire to fit in,
has us commit all our sins,
as acting as a badass or a brat,
seems to level up our status in where we're at,
as it brings us all the attention we seek,
from the way we speak,
to the way we dress,
the things we do to relieve this stress,
of our peers'/society's pressure.

Not all peer pressures are negative, as some may be able shape a teen's behavior for the better. Given the right guidance, environment and some pressure will certainly benefit a teen, and help him/her to change from negative to positive, to alter their attitudes and bad behaviors. As for certain people, they can only be their best if they're under pressure, to push them over their limits, to achieve the best of them.
But from most cases that I've personally seen, negative peer pressure has certainly influenced a teen for the worst, from drinking to smoking to being pregnant or simply going to clubs everyday even though they're underage has had them ended up being expelled from school, thus not continuing their secondary/high school education has led them no where to go. Yes, I've seen cases where some of them have become successful business man/woman or perhaps a model or working successfully in the entertainment industry but for most cases these rarely happen unless one is very talented or hardworking in their very platforms.
So.. Stay strong and stand on your ground, don't let your desire to fit in or the pressure they put on you overcome your own mind, you know what's right or wrong. View things for the long-term and not temporary.
