the wide acceptance of the LGBTQ community,
has given many the opportunity,
to come out with confidence about their true identity,
as we stand in unity.
it has come to this generation,
no matter where we station,
we stand by one another,
to fight together,
to alter society's faulty thinking,
and every child's upbringing,
about being a certain identity,
to have a fixed destiny.
love is love,
as long as he/she is your truelove,
as long as the both of you are happy and feel the same way,
you shouldn't be ashamed in any way,
no gender, race or religion should ever define it,
and most certainly, none of those should be the reason you two quit!
coming out may be hard,
to have to fear the bombard,
disappointments, confusions,
and all the other emotions,
given from your friends and family,
it might not be easy,
but you have to know that you're not alone,
that you won't have to stand on your own,
that in society today,
it is certainly okay,
to be lesbian or gay,
you WILL be treated the same way.

As we all know it's pride month, I've decided to join #WattPride to take part and show my support for the LGBT community !
I've personally heard some firsthand stories from my close friends in school, people I've met on the internet and even one who is just a stranger I happen to talk to while we were queuing in line during a huge event in another country. They've told me their experiences and journey, in which, was not so pleasant, but with the wide public acceptance of the LGBTQ community we have today, and everyone out there who has been supporting them, it has certainly helped them gain much confidence on being who they really are, to not have to hide their identity and themselves behind a mask.
Proud to be part of this amazing generation and to play a tiny role in this movement !
