Seeing their mother cry makes Bret and Willis want to cry, too. They've never seen her so sad in their lives, which makes them want to hug her tight.

Lenna: Thank you, guys. It means a lot to me.

Bret: Mom, what's happening?

Lenna: Well, I should've let you know before, but... I didn't have the courage to tell you...

She's sobbing while talking, which makes Willis cry too.

Bret: So what?

Lenna: You have a sister.

Willis: A what?

Lenna: Well... it's quite complicated to explain... I'll just say that she was taken away before you were born.

Bret: Can we see her?

Lenna doesn't expect Bret to understand and react so calmly. Any other kid would have an outburst, but that's not her middle son's case. The same can't be said about Willis, though, who's still crying and can't believe what his mother said.

Lenna: I'm afraid not, sorry. I don't know where she is. Your aunt, Kaitlin, said she could've died.

Bret: That witch said that, right?

Lenna: I don't believe her, don't worry. If she were actually dead, I would've been informed by everyone else, too.

Bret: You don't need to worry, Mom. Everything will be fine.

Even though he's only ten years old, Bret is incredibly empathic and knows how to relieve his parents and brother when things go downhill. As she sees him smiling, Lenna smiles back at him, before drying Willis's tears.

Lenna: Anyway, we're going to visit Aunts Bridgette and Preslea tomorrow.

Willis: Does it mean we'll meet Leigheanna, too?

Lenna: No, I don't think so. But, if you behave well, you'll have cookies!

The two kids esult and start jumping off the couch, laughing and screaming. That way, Lenna can feel a little more relieved and hope that the truth about her daughter comes out soon.

Meanwhile, Bridie is sitting in Alaria's car, looking around herself and noticing that the other passengers are slowly falling asleep. She's sitting between Lindsay, who has a huge bandage on her head, and Ainsleigh, who's holding her phone tight. Next to Alaria, there is Meara, whose face is covered in sweat.

Suddenly, her phone is ringing. She hopes it's either her parents asking her how she is or Leigheanna being eager to meet her again, but, again, she has to face the Devil.

Bridie: Huh. What the fuck does she want?

Alaria: Who is it?

Bridie: Don't make me say that name.
