Bridgette is startled as she receives a call from Sheriff Kees from Arlington, Virginia, informing her about what Kaitlin did earlier to her own daughter. However, she still has several questions to ask him.

Bridgette: Are you sure?

Kees: Oh, yes.

Bridgette: Who gave you my number?

Kees: Mrs Harlan's daughter - your niece, I suppose - gave it to me.

Bridgette: And how did you track her?

Kees: One of the kids who was assaulted called 911 and probably gave them your sister's address. The other one warned me afterwards... and I know him very well...

Bridgette: So, this means that one of the boys is-

Kees: My son. I know you're surprised, madam, but you shouldn't. After all, we're talking about your own sister. Why on hell would she do that?

Bridgette: It's a long story. Too long to be told on the phone. Let's just say she has always been attracted by perverse schemes.

Kees: That's... creepy.

Bridgette: Oh. Is there anything else I can do for you?

Kees: No. I'll call you later in case I find her. Thank you for your time.

Bridgette: You're welcome.

As Bridgette hangs up, she notices that Abbie is still standing by the threshold of Leigheanna's room, where she's staying. The woman and the young girl exchange worried glances, but then Abbie gulps, knowing that Neva is in serious trouble.

Abbie: What happened to Neva?

Bridgette: Well... Kaitlin has hurt her badly. The Sheriff called me to inform me about this.

Abbie: That's terrible! I need to go back home-

Bridgette: No way. You're much safer here, trust me.

Abbie: But, Aunt, Neva needs me!

Bridgette: Come on, Abbie. Just rest, okay?

Abbie: I-

Bridgette: Everything is going to be okay. Now, please go to bed. I don't want to see you like that.

Even though she'd like to go and rescue her sister, Abbie knows that Bridgette is right, after all, and accepts that she has to sleep. She closes the door behind her and lets herself drop on the bed.

But Sin City doesn't want to sleep. In particular, there is a group of young adults who wants to stay up all night long. In particular, among them, there are a blue-haired girl and a cocky guy with long hair. Those two people are named respectively Leigheanna Macias and Rowan Killip.
