Third Person POV-
Breaking the fourth wall.
Ah, such good times.
When you do it over and over again.
"Grah! Why! Why would you do this to me, (Y/N)!" He yelled throwing one of his swords towards you, only for you to dodge it quickly. You had been pestering him for the whole day now, and wouldn't stop. Kondraki was obviously getting sick of it.
And sick of it to the point where, well, he wants you to die. So he tried sword fighting with you. Unfortunately for the both of you, you both know how to fight with swords.
"Hah! Hazah! You'll never get me, Konny!" You exclaimed. He seemed to be even more ticked by the nickname.
"Just, go, away, you, son, of, a, bitch!" He shouted between breathes, while you laughed.
"Sorry, Konny. But I don't think the readers would like that!" You laughed, as he got even more ticked, not noticing the grinning figure at the door. Dr. Kondraki came to a sudden halt, leaving you to fall on your ass. "Fuckin shitty tits!" You yelled out, the other two started to laugh at your exclamation as you got up and glared at them.
"Wow, I haven't heard something like that since. . . well, since Jack came to the facility!" Clef chuckled, finally calming down from his laughing fit. This was going to be a long day.

It had all happened so suddenly; the sounds of the sirens wailing in the office, the MTF troops marching quickly down the halls, getting every researcher they could. They were too late for your group, on the other hand.
When the Chaos Insurgency came, they went straight to you, knocked out Clef, Kondraki, and Bright, and then you. You didn't know what happened after that, all you could hear were the sounds of people screaming, guns shooting, and marching. Just marching.
Everything hurt, your head, your body, everything. You could only wonder where the people you cared about where. Where was Clef? He shouldn't have been knocked out so easily.
You heard their thoughts, they sickened you. You knew what they were doing, you could see Clef, Kondraki, and Bright through their eyes. It wasn't a problem. If you could hear thoughts more clearly, you were getting stronger again. You could see through their eyes, you can posses them, but not entirely. You can just look through the eyes.
You had thought you weren't able to get stronger, you should have listened to that Siren. She knew what she was talking about. She could feel your abilities coming back, slowly yet, surely. You should have listened to the Succubus, she may have been trying to take your energy to feed herself, but she also knew what she was talking about. You should have listened to the Commander of the O5 council. She knew what she was talking about. You should have listened to every one of them. They all knew.
Although, no one would expect what would happen next. You were too tired, you let your body rest. They had tranquilized you. Your mind, it hurt from what they were saying. But you knew where they were headed to.
France.
You heard their thoughts. It hurt your head, yes. But, at least you got some type of information. You needed to get you and your group out of there, and fast.
You couldn't do anything, and that's what hurt you the most. You could feel yourself, mentally slipping away into darkness. Your cognitive giving way to the drowsiness of your body. And all you could see was darkness.
And all you could hear, was marching.
_____
Clef wasn't doing so well with this either. He wondered, how? How could they have had the chance to actually knock him out? He did not know, he couldn't see anything. He couldn't hear anything, except for marching.
He couldn't move, he couldn't open his eyes. His head, it rang from the impact of the tranquilizer. His mind was panicking about where they were going. He could hear distinctions of F and S but, couldn't make out the words they were saying. His mind, still panicking, remembered about not only (Y/N), but Konny and Bright too.
He shouldn't have been knocked out so easily, he cursed himself. Not being able to protect them, not being able to protect himself. He has the power to, he just got knocked out by mere humans. How? He doesn't know. They may have been hiding in the vents.
Clef was afraid, he wouldn't admit it, but he truly was afraid. He was afraid of losing (Y/N), afraid of losing Bright again. Or worse, Kondraki.
Sure, Clef had been an ass towards him the whole time he worked there, but Kondraki was one of his best friends, hence the name Konny. He couldn't lose any of them.
But he couldn't do anything. He felt worthless.
He felt the self loathing creeping back into his mind, but started to remember what you had said.
'If you ever loathe yourself, at any point in time, remember this. No matter where we are, whatever situation we are in, I love you. And nothing will ever change that. This is why I am giving you this.' You had given him a locket that he carries around all the time. He has it hidden in his shirt. 'This will remind you that no matter where we are, or whatever situation we are in, I will always love you. That will never, ever change.'
Their words echoed through the crooks and crannies of his mind, he tried thinking, but his own cognitive started to darken. His mind was starting to fall asleep, and all he could think about before his mind went black, 'I am sorry. . .' before the drowsiness of his mind took over.
All he could hear were the sounds of soldiers marching.

Bright was awake. He was terrified, but he wouldn't show it. He saw Kondraki being tied up after him, then it was (Y/N) being chained down. Clef was taken into a metallic box. "Stainless steel. He shouldn't be able to get out of that, and they shouldn't be able to get out of those chains." A man with a thick accent walked into the room. Bright glared, he wasn't going to show them he was afraid.
"Oh, Dr. Jack Bright. I see you woke early." The man said, smirking.
"Fuck you." Jack merely spat, as he tried getting out of the ropes.
"Now, now. You should be nicer." His heavy accent rang through Jack's ears. He cringed back, still struggling to get free. "You are, after all. Going to watch as your friends suffer." Jack froze.
"What?" He muttered, the man chuckled darkly.
"When one of the other three wake, it is their time to suffer!" His voice rang through the room as he shouted happily. Bright knew he wasn't going to like this torment. He knew he had to care. Not only were they his group, but they are his best friends.
But he couldn't move. He couldn't do anything but yell, and shout.
He felt hopeless.
He couldn't save them.
But they can.
