Lucy Heartfilia, daughter of the wealthy millionaire Jude Heartfilia, runs away from her lavish life in pursuit of freedom.

She decides to enroll at Fiore High to finish her studies and finally live life. She quickly learns that in Fiore, the citizens are defined and judged by the "family" that they choose at the Choice Ceremony-what they childishly call "Guilds"-with Fairy tail being the most popular.

To make matters stranger, every citizen in Fiore has a Guild that they call their own.

Lucy doesn't want anything to do with any young adult drama-definitely nothing to do with heartbreak... That is until a certain (certainly strange), pink-haired boy saves her from trouble and turns her entire existence turns upside down.

In this small corner or Earthland lies the hustling and bustling country of Fiore where the biggest and most prestigious school of the Fiore Companies is located. This school is known for it's above average Academic levels and prodigies in the Fine Arts as well as another thing.

Friendships in this school are said to last forever.

Lucy Heartfilia knows this when she enrolls—at first as an act of rebellion—but she could never foresee the hurdles and obstacles that life throws at her as she journeys through high school, exploring happiness, remorse, romance and finding her true Family.
