MACI

I can't believe how easy that was for me to just come out and say that about my dad. It felt good though.

       "I'm sorry." He says.

I look at him and smile a little bit.

"It's okay. A lot of people think that because you have rich parents that it automatically makes you a spoiled brat or someone who gets everything they want. But that's not always the case. My dad was not one to share his money with me or his time. Although he'd buy me the essentials of what I needed such as clothes for school and food and a roof over my head. Which I always was grateful for." I stop myself and realize I am telling him about my life story that he doesn't need or I'm sure doesn't want to even hear about. "Anyways." I smirk as I grab our plates and head into the kitchen towards the sink to start cleaning them.

As soon as I finished, I turned and saw Henry standing a few feet away from me and then starts to slowly stride up to me and wraps one of his arms around my waist and pulls me closer against him as he takes his other hand and cups the side of my face while looking into my eyes and slowly leans forward and kisses me soft and passionately.

I should be pushing him away. However, my body cant seem to connect with my mind in telling me to push him away or tell him to stop.

I feel his tongue begin to ask for entrance to my lips, in which I grant it. Then his tongue and mine begin fighting for dominance.

His touch instantly cause my knees to become weak and then once he placed his lips onto mine, my breath was literally taken away.

We pull apart a little bit and try to catch our breaths as we look into each other's eyes and start to smile.

"I'm sorry. I just couldn't help it." He tells me.

"It's okay. I was kind of hoping you would." I confess.

We smile at one another and then kiss each other again with my arms wrapped around his neck.

We're caught up in the moment that we don't hear the front door opening up.

"Well, well, well. It's about time you both finally grew up and got together." We heard Lexi say.

Me and Henry started to laugh and looked over at them both.

"Don't mind us. Carry on." Karl winks and smiles as him and her both head towards their bedroom.

Henry and I stay up a little while, on the couch with me in his arms, talking to get to know one another more then falling asleep together in my bed.

I didn't think of him before as someone who cuddles but he did and was really good at it too.

The next day when I woke up, I noticed I was asleep, alone in my bed.

Before I began thinking anything bad or negative I took in a deep breath and then walked out towards the kitchen and living room but he wasn't there either.

I began thinking maybe it was all just a dream. None of it was real.

Then the sliding glass door that opens up to our little balcony we have out back, opens and in walks Henry.

He looks like he's mad at whoever he just got off the phone with.

Although as soon as he looks at me, he instantly begins to smile and walks up to me, wraps his arms around my waist and kisses me.

"Good morning beautiful." He says to me.

"Good morning." I reply as I bite my lower lip a little as I blush.

"I was thinking since it's Sunday and you aren't working, maybe we could grab some breakfast and spend the day together." He suggests and I am shocked.

"Okay. I'll go take a shower and get dressed then meet you out here in fifteen?" I reply.

         "Sounds good." He smiles.

We both then get ourselves ready and head out.

*****************************************

After breakfast, he took me to go and see The Quiet Place. It was pretty good.

We then went to the beach and walked hand-in-hand along the sand before we went back home and he told me he wanted to take me to a nice dinner.

So we both got ready and headed out to a nice restaurant.

He wouldn't tell me where we were going but said he was sure I would love it.

So far, I'm impressed and this is already one of the best dates I have ever been on. I just hope he keeps this behavior up.
