CHAPTER 14: I Want You Too

I know that I lied to Maci when she asked me before we came here, asking if everything was okay and then I told her I was nervous in meeting her dad. Which I was in a way because of what Arthur said to me. But I couldn't tell her the entire truth. I was still trying to figure out ways of getting out of this whole thing.

"Oh my god. You're here!" Lee jumps up and says with excitement as he runs up towards us and hugs Maci tightly.

"Who's this?" He asks while looking at me.

"This is Henry, my boyfriend." She tells him and it made me feel really good that she said that.

"Nice to meet you." He says to me as he holds out his hand.

Lee then turns and begins introducing us to his friends that are all around the table and of course, at first, his wife. Who was really pretty and was an average height woman in her mid twenties with red curly hair and covered in tattoos, just like Lee was also.

Then after meeting everyone else, we sat down and seemed to get there just in time, seeing as to how no one even ordered any appetizers, just drinks. So we all ordered and all began talking to everyone.
