HENRY

I have never taken a girl to the place I'm taking Maci.

She seems a little bit nervous but I can't tell her where we're going. I want it to still remain a surprise.

As soon as we pull up, a man comes and opens up my door as another one does the same for Maci and helps her out of the car.

I hand the keys to the valet and then take a hold of her hand and we begin walking inside the nice restaurant.

The doorman opens the door for us both and we walk inside and head up to the hostess.

"Good evening Sir. Is just the both of you?" The girl asked us.

"Yes." I replied and then as the girl looked Maci up and down with disgust, I just wrapped my arm around Maci's waist and pulled her closer towards me and then we followed the hostess towards our table.

After being seated and handed our menus, I glared at the hostess before she could say or do anything she'd regret, she noticed me glaring at her and just walked away.

Maci looks all around the restaurant in amazement.

"This is beautiful." She says.

"I'm glad you like it." I reply.

She opens up the menu and the first thing I notice is the look on her face as soon as she see's the prices. Although before she says something and as she looks up from the menu at me, I quickly assure her it's fine.

We order and begin talking to each other and continue from last night in getting to know each other more.

Then after getting our food and talking some more, I see out the corner of my eye one of Arthur's guys, Ron. talking with one of the employees.

Luckily, Maci was too full to have dessert so I paid and we got up and left, luckily without Ron seeing us.....Or so I thought.

As soon as we got outside and were waiting for the valet to bring my car to us, I heard Ron's voice behind me.

"I didn't expect to see you here." Ron says.

Maci and I turn around and I take in a deep breath and let it out to make sure I don't get mad.

Little did I realize that I was squeezing Maci's hand tightly.

I then look at her, "I'm sorry." I mouth to her before easing up my grip and then looking back at Ron.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him knowing damn well he hates coming to this city.

"I have a cousin who works here. What are you doing here?" He asks me as he starts looking Maci up and down and she starts to move closer to me with discomfort.

I wanted to punch him so badly and so hard for eye fucking my girl, but I kept my cool.

"It's none of your business." I replied. Luckily, the valet pulled up and I got Maci into the car and shut her door.

"I'll be in touch." Ron grins at me then looks back at Maci.

I get into the car and start driving off, peeling a little bit out of the driveway and heading back towards the apartment.

"Who was that guy?" Maci asks.

"Just someone I used to know." I tell her.

She just nods her head and then looks out the window without saying anything for the rest of the car ride back to the apartment.
