Gideon's POV

They both got into Nick's car and drove to meet with Gideon's Realtor, and go over the final stages of his new building for his Bakery. It was 12:07 and traffic wasn't bad so Gideon wasn't worried about being late. He got his phone out and got directions to the building, soon to be his new bakery location. Gideon gave Nick directions as they drove and about forty minutes later they made it to the building. Gideon got out of the car and started walking to the entrance but then heard Nick say something. He turned to him "What did you say?" he asked.

"Wow! This place is amazing! You sure this is the place?!" Nick grinned at Gideon.

Gideon blushed "Yeah this is the place, is it to much? Ah really like the building and money really isn't a problem. With the partnership with the Hopps Farm, ingredients haven't been expensive. And the money has just been stored for a replacement if an oven brakes down or something and Mr. Hopps and ah can't fix it. But that hasn't happened so ah though about growing my business." Gideon shrugged. It just seemed like the best for his business, he never really made any long term plans for his business.

"Like I said earlier, Gideon Gray you are a genius." He crossed his arms on top of the roof of his car and winked at Gideon.

"Yeah sure whatever Nick let's go in." Gideon chuckled.

They walked in and there stood a porcupine. With a clip board with a small stack of papers on top of a folder in her paw.

"You must be Mr. Grey then." She looked between the two foxes. She wasn't sure which fox was Mr. Gray.

Gideon stepped forward and extended his paw out to her. "That would be me but ya can call me Gideon."

She shook his paw and smiled and turned to Nick and shook his hand too. "And you are?"

"Oh this is my uh, friend Nick." Gideon said looking at Nick his cheeks turned a little red when he said friend.

Which Nick thought only he noticed, but the porcupine noticed the sudden flush of color on Gideon's cheeks as well. After that she then shortly noticed that the two foxes had the same scent of Nick's vanilla coconut fur shampoo. She subtlety looked the two foxes over and thought that they seemed close yet trying to look distant. And sense she noticed they where failing at it. She had a suspicion so she decided to ask them something. "So are you two together?"

Almost instantly Gideon's face turned bright red. "W-w-what?!"

"Oh excuse me I meant are you two staying together?" She apologized.

"O-oh yeah, um Gideon is staying with me while he's here in Zootopia." Nick replied. Even his face has a little red as well.

"Oh I see. Well Mr. Gr- I mean Gideon shall we get these papers in order."

Nick's POV

While Gid was signing papers Nick took a quick look around the front of the soon to be bakery. There where two counters that  ended toward the middle of the store where there was and open gap that lead to behind the counter and further back into to the building. Nick decided to venture to the back of the building there was a wall to the left of the building that was as long as the counter a few feet in front of it. But on the right side there wasn't a wall it left the right side wide open to were as the left side had a bit more secluded.

Nick walked back to the front to join Gideon and Eunice. Gideon was filling out papers and was about half way through.

"So Nick what do you do?" Eunice asked,

"I'm a police officer, I work at Precinct 1 I'm Officer Hopps' partner."

"Judy Hopps? The officer that solved the missing mammals case?" She asked.

"Yeah that her. She's the one who actually talked me into being an officer." Nick admitted. Nick noticed that Gideon had stopped filling out papers and was also listening to Nick which made Nick blush a bit. Once Gideon realized Nick had noticed him listening he quickly turned back to his paper and resumed filling them out.

After a bit more small talk with Eunice Gideon handed her the filled out papers which she looked over.

"Alright everything looks good. I'll email you if anything goes wrong. Hope you two have a great rest of your day." She walked to the door and opened and right as she was about to walk out the door she gave them a side glance and with a small smirk,

"By the way you two make a cute couple show it off more, cause you guys aren't the best at hiding it." And with that she walked out to her car and left the two foxes with very red faces.

"Ahem... well one down one to go" Nick said looking at Gideon they both still blushing from the porcupine's remark.

"Y-yeah right um... well it looks like we got about a hour till ah need to go apply for the business loan. Do ya think we should head there now?" Gideon asked Nick.

"Yeah probably traffic will be a bit slow cause lunch breaks are ending so people will be heading back to work. Nothing to bad though." Nick replied.

They headed to the car, Gideon locked the doors to the new soon to bakery location. Gideon buckled his seat belt and got out this other key and added the new keys to his small collection. Nick realized that today was the last day before he had to go back to work.

Wow this weekend when by like crazy. So many things happened. Especially at the bar. I need to talk to him about that before I have to work, I can't believe I got into a fist fight in front of him like that and when he was upset. But after the bank I don't want to bring up anything that might upset him when he's starting up his business.

"Wow ah can't believe this is actually happenin, ah never thought my business would go this far," Gideon was smiling from ear to ear.

"I'm happy for you Gideon this has been one pretty major weekend."

"Yeah ah'm glad ah've let the employees at the bakery in Bunny Burrow know that I'll have to be here when the new bakery is being built here." Gideon admitted.

Oh he's going to be coming back and will be staying a while. I wonder for how long, and if he'd want to stay at my place. I wish I could take time off work for the whole time he would need to come down again. But who knows how long that would be sadly.
