After i released from the hug turned around, it was as if all eyes were on me. I saw a group of girls i remember seeing walk into Ryder's house, if looks could kill i would surly be dead by now. I kept my head down as i speed walked into the school. As soon as i entered the building i had the sudden urge to pee, i mentally scolded myself for not going before i left and headed towards the washroom. I went into the washroom and did my business , as i was about to unlock the stall i heard someone walk in, A countless amount of clicks from high heels were heard walking into the bathroom. i slowly unlocked the door and walked to the sink keeping my head down. i was stopped by one of the girls who i soon realized was one of Ryder's old hook ups. She smiled devilishly at me before pushing me down, knocking my cheek off the sink in the process. When i hit the floor i grabbed my cheek in pain. " you think you can just flirt with Ryder? well new flash sweet heart hes just using you." one of them said while another kicked me in the stomach. I screamed out in pain, mostly because she was wearing those stupid pointed high heels. I was then picked up by two of the girls while another two repeatedly punch me in different spots all over my body. Eventually they stopped and the "head hoe" walked over to me and punched my directly in the mouth. She leaned down and whispered in my ear " stay away from Ryder" with that i was dropped to the ground and left alone. I had been bullied before, I've been pushed around and stuff, but this, this was the worse. i lay on the bathroom floor for bit before i slowly got up. Pain raked threw my body and i just wanted to curl into a ball and die. I leaned onto a wall and made my way to the nurses office.

I sat outside the nurses office after i was checked out and cleaned up. I was forced to sit out here because some kid got a sliver in the finger. I could hear footsteps coming down the hall, when i looked up and regretted it immediately. "Lexi" Ryder questioned, " what the hell happened" he asked kneeling in front of me. I scanned through my brain attempting to find an idea. : i um i feel" i finally managed to squeak out. He rolled his eyes at me before grabbing my hands and entwining our fingers together." Lexi, who did this to you" he questioned again. I looked down while licking my dry busted lips, " Ryder I'm fine just go back to class" i sighed. "Fine?" his voice raising. i slightly winced as he quickly stood up." Lexi you look like shit, i am giving you one more chance to tell me who did this to you" his voice booming thought out the hallways." Why do you even care?" i mumbled while still looking at the ground. I felt his finger tips on my chin making me look at him, i pulled away in pain. He looked me in the eye before slowly leaning in, "Ryder wh-" i was cut off my his soft lips pressing on to my busted ones. I immediately kissed him , there was a gasp coming from behind Ryder. He stood straight up and turned around, It was one of the girls from the bathroom, she narrowed her eyes at me, i quickly looked down at my lap suddenly being very interested in my fingers. " I thought we made it clear that you were supposed to stay away from him" she spat at me. I heard footsteps and a terrified squeal, i looked up to see the girl being pinned to the wall by Ryder. "YOU did this to her" he yelled at her. "n-no" she squeaked, i scoffed and Ryder looked at me. "was it her?" he asked his voice lowering, "uh yeah and a few other girls" i mumbled.Ryder looked the girl directly in the eyes, "don't EVER come near Lexi again" his voice booming through out the hallways.The girl stayed silent in fear, "Answer me!" he screamed in her face. "o-okay" her voice trembled. Ryder let the girl go and she scurried down the hallway, i starred at Ryder my eyes wide from fear. Ryder look at me his face full of regret," Come on" his voice back to normal as he grabbed my arm and led me down the hallway towards the parking lot.
