jaunt (noun): a journey taken for pleasure

-Jess's Point of View-

We were all seated in the lounge once again, just like last time, Harry had announced he had something to say. I snuck a peak at Luke, catching him staring at me. Just seeing made my stomach turn over completely, filling me with happiness. However, I couldn't help thinking about what my smart ass brother had to say.

"Being the brilliant mind that I am," Harry began and I rolled my eyes but couldn't help smiling. "I decided we should go on a little adventure, just to relax and bond. What do you all say?"

"What kind of adventure?" Niall piped in, asking the question that was taunting all of our minds.

"Who cares? It's an adventure! Woohoo!" Michael screamed, making me burst into fits of laughter.

"We're going to the mountains, a few cabins up there are available for rent and most are right next to lakes," Harry answered Niall's inquiry while slightly chuckling at Mikey's outburst. It was hard not to laugh at his reactions.

"When do we leave?" Luke asked.

"Tonight." Harry said with the devil's smirk slicked on his face. "Also, I have another surprise for my dear little sister."

I cocked an eyebrow and stood up from my seat, making my way over to him after he had motioned for me to do so. I waited for one of the One Direction members to throw a cream pie in my face or something because those were usually the surprises I could expect from my male sibling.

"What is it, Styles?" I probed, not believing that there was anything at all. Harry coughed three times in a row, sending some sort of signal. A figure walked in through the door and her beaming smile caused me to grin back. I raced to her, with tears of happiness in my eyes, and threw my arms around her.

"Josie, I missed you so much," I exclaimed. She hugged me back tight and the smile on her face extended from one ear to the other.

"Way more, J," Josie beamed.

"Alright everyone, let's get packing," Harry chirped, drawing the attention back to him. I grabbed Josie's hand and we raced upstairs to my room to get packing. She was already settled, with her suitcase resting in the foyer. All we had to do was get me ready.

With lots of talk and laughter, we began throwing my clothes into suitcases. Josie enlightened me on her experience as a model and how their competition turned out. She said it was the most rewarding event ever, however, the results won't be announced for another three days. As I collected my toiletries, I chatted about everything in Sydney, including the drama with Luke. Josie listened with great interest and assured me that everything was going to be alright with time.

I was squeezed in the back of the black jeep with Calum, Josie and Luke, while Mikey drove and Jade rode shotgun. The vehicle was large and we didn't feel like we were being squashed against each other. The rest of the crew were driving in the other landrover in which Ashton, Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis and Niall fit. I was so exhausted, even though we had only been in the auto for about two hours. I was sick of the talking and singing, which is what the rest of the members of the car were doing, all I wanted to do was sleep.

I grabbed an emergency pillow and blanket, which were finally going to serve their purpose, from the back of the jeep. I felt my eyelids getting heavier and heavier, threatening to close at any moment. I rested my pillow on Luke lap, feeling him stiff a little under my sudden touch before relaxing again. He wrapped his arm around my back and pressed me into him, making me feel comfortable and secure. Smiling to myself, I was out in a matter of seconds.
