I Fell In Love With A Merman [Joshler]

~Two~

"Tyler! Wanna go swimming?"

I woke up and saw my sister Madison standing over me.

"Maddy, how many times do I have to remind you, I don't like the ocean."

Madison frowned.

"You're no fun."

She ran out of my room. I sighed.

"I am such a baby." I thought.

I got out of bed and got dressed. I just put regular swim trunks since I was gonna walk on the beach and let the waves touch my feet.

When I got outside, I saw how beautiful the ocean looked. Madison was swimming in the water around the edge. Zack laid flat on the beach. I saw how the waves touched his body.
And there was my other brother, my youngest brother, Jay.

He's a charmer, but he hasn't impressed any girls. It's a very unfortunate thing for him. I've set him up on a few blind dates, but they never worked out. I guess they didn't like his weight. But he has approved thanks to my mom buying him a weightier. It's sad because he's only 18 years old. I hope something good happens with him.

I didn't really feel like hanging out with my family. So I decided to walk along the beach. The waves were harsh today, rubbing themselves onto me. I guess it's just a beautiful day. I could hear Madison laughing and splashing herself along the water. I smiled, feeling happy that they were happy.

I stepped along the rocks to cool off a bit. And that's when I saw the most beautiful thing in the world. Mermaids.

My heart sunk. I couldn't believe it. Actual mermaids. I saw a bit of mermen but the mermaids were so beautiful. Mom was wrong, they are real.

"I wish Madison could be here to see this." I thought.

But I didn't want to disrupt her time playing with Zack and Jay.

I continued to walk along the rocks watching the mermaids swim by. I wanted to say hi to them but I was afraid I would scare them away.
I sat down along the sea rocks and placed my feet into the water. I leaned back and closed my eyes, feeling the soothing sun onto my legs. It felt like heaven was happy with me.

Shortly after, I decided to walk back onto the beach. I could still see Zack and Jay playing in the water. I smiled.

As I walked, I saw something laying up against the sand. When I walked closer, I saw that it was a merman, an actual merman. He was laying on the beach unconscious with a crab trap wrapped around his tail.

I kneeled down next to him and touched his cheek. It felt soft like the ocean foam. He looked so beautiful. I'd never seen a more beautiful creature than before.

I realized that I needed to help him out of the trap. I took out my pocket knife and cut the ropes away from his tail. And that's when he started to regain consciousness.

I'm sorry for leaving it here. But yeah.
