Dear Diary,
I've never really done anything like this before, but Nagisa and Rei insisted that I write in this after they gave it to me for my birthday. Nagisa said it could be "fun", and Rei went on a rant about how it could help keep me less stressed if I write down the daily events and problems I'm facing. I mean, I have a lot of schoolwork, and I have to balance being the swim club captain as well, but I don't feel all that much pressure. That might be because I have Haru by my side. As cheesy as it might sound, if I'm with him, I can do anything. As long as I get to watch him swimming happily in our school's pool, or as long as I get to pull him by his hand out of his bathtub every morning and wait patiently for him as he gets ready, I can do anything.
Not even a page in and I'm already writing corny things about my best friend. I hope I'm doing this correctly. Maybe I should consider writing about school, the swim club, and everything that happened today instead of writing creepy stuff about Haru.
He would probably glare at me, or give me a strange look if he read this. I guess this is kind of fun; just like Nagisa said. As for what Rei said, it does make me feel a bit better to write down my true feelings about Haru. I've bottled them up for so long, and locked them away in the deepest corners of my mind. My hand is starting to hurt; I have a pile of homework to do as well, so I'll stop writing for now. I can't wait to see Haru's face tomorrow.
