Bullying would be a strong word to describe what Felix and his friends did to (y/n), but it was still rude.

It was kind of bearable though, at least to (y/n), since they never crossed the line.

As much as (y/n) hated them ordering her around, especially Felix, she couldn't help but notice how her heartbeat doubles whenever she makes eye contact with him. She loved his cute freckles, as well as his beautiful deep voice, and how nice he'd be towards his friends. Yet, he was still so mean to her which made her hate him too. It was complicated.

"Oh, nerdy is here!" Jisung grinned as (y/n) walked into class.

She just sighed and went to her seat. The class was kind of empty, only Chan and Jisung were here, along with a few other students.

"Hey, (y/n)-ah, get me a drink before the class starts." Chan said, not averting his gaze from the book in his hands.

"But class will start in a few minutes." She turned around and smiled to him, hoping he'd actually leave her this time.

"But I really want to drink something right now." He sighed, looking up to her.

"Okay..." She clicked her tongue, standing up. They were now used to her sighing and glaring at them.

"Get me a bag of chips too~" Jisung smiled, waving at her as she nodded and went out of class.

She ran to the vending machine, wanting to finish this as soon as possible.

After getting chips and Chan's favorite drink, (y/n) sighed and decided to just take her time, so she walked slowly to class, her enthusiasm to finish this quickly lone gone.

-lunch break-

As always, (y/n) went to buy lunch for the boys from the near store and got something for herself too before going back to class.

"You knew he was in trouble! He called you!"

"Well you know what Minho is for us!"

"He was our friend!"

"But he betrayed us!"

(Y/n) heard two people yelling at each other as she walked through the corridor to her class, and recognized one of them as Felix. She can recognize his deep voice anywhere.

She did not notice that she has started running to class.

"Even if he did, you should've helped him! You could've just told us!" That last shout sounded like a cry, and (Y/n) noticed how the voice cracked near the end of the sentence. It was Jisung, she guessed. He spoke so much that his voice was already engraved in her mind. Following the yell was a loud thump, so she guessed that either of them was pushed down.

(Y/n) unconsciously took a deep breath and held it as she peaked her head into the classroom.

She guessed it right, it was Felix and Jisung after all.

"What would've happened if I told you? Would you actually go to him?" Felix asked, on the ground. (Y/n) slowly walked towards them, and nearly gasped when she saw the blood on Felix's lips. Did Jisung punch him?

"Yes I would! He was our friend and brother, how did you easily ignore his call!?" Jisung cried once more, and pulled Felix by his collar up to his feet aggressively.

"No stop!" (y/n) quickly pulled Felix by his wrist and stood between him and Jisung, "What would hurting him do!?" She yelled in anger at Jisung.

Jisung was surprised for a second before yelling back, "This has nothing to do with you!"

(Y/n) couldn't help but admit that he was right. She wasn't their friend. It wasn't her problem whether they fought or not.

Yet she felt compelled to get Felix out of here.

So she did.

"Where are you taking me?" Felix said softly, not tearing his gaze from the ground. It was good he wasn't fighting back.

"I don't know." (Y/n) answered honestly, just walking through the corridors and pulling Felix behind her by his wrist.

"You shouldn't butt in in situations like this. I would've been seriously angry if I wasn't too tired to feel anything."

(Y/n) was afraid to ask, but she couldn't keep her curiosity away and spoke, "Why... are you tired?"

He didn't answer, and that meant she should shut up, so she did.

Somehow they ended up in the backyard.

(Y/n) wanted to see his injuries, yet she was so afraid to even look at his face. "A-Are you okay?"

"Emotionally or physically?" Felix tilted his head.

"Nevermind."

She slowly averted her gaze to his face, and saw the bruise on his left cheekbone as well as his wounded lips. 'I hope I actually knew how to heal injuries like that.' She thought, staring at his face.

"I know I'm good-looking, but stop staring. It's uncomfortable."

She snapped back and blushed, "I was not staring! I was just looking at your wounds!"

"Yeah sure." He rolled his eyes.

"A-Anyway, uhh..." She was at a loss of words, and her throbbing heart wasn't helping. "You... Should get some rest?" She smiled sheepishly, hoping to put him at ease since he has been glaring at her for the past few minutes.

"Why are you bothering me?" Felix frowned, crossing his arms.

"Because I like you." she grinned.

Felix just continued frowning at her in confusion.

"What? Is that how you respond to a confession?" she put a hand on her hip, cocking an eyebrow.

"So that was a confession?"

(Y/n) blushed, but stood still. "Duh."

He laughed, "You're weird."

"Rude!" She whined, "Plus, that is not an answer!"

"I won't answer." He smirked walking away with (y/n) trailing behind him.

"But I need an answer!"

"And why should I give you one?"

"Because-" Felix stopped abruptly, making her bump into his back. "Hey don't do that! Your back is as stiff as a freaking rock." She huffed, blushing as Felix leaned close to her.

He just smiled before planting a soft kiss on her cheek.

So why do we say "to plant a kiss"?   

-Because you're hoping something will sprout.
