(y/n) gazed at her watch impatiently, waiting for the bus she takes to home. She missed the first one because she hung out with her friends after school, and forgot that she'll take the bus. It was almost 6 pm, and she wanted nothing more right now than to plop on her comfortable bed.
"Hello,"
It was probably some stranger talking to another one, since she knew no one here, so she didn't look at the speaker.
"Hey, can't you hear me?"
She heard them again, and this time louder, so she decided to actually check if someone's talking to her. "Yes?" She turned around to see a raven haired guy, holding a phone to his ear.
'Oh. He was talking in the phone.'
He glanced at her and tilted his head slightly before looking back in front of him.
She mentally facepalmed, cursing the moment she thought responding was a good idea. She couldn't help but glance at him every once in a while though, since he was really attractive. After a couple of minutes, as she was looking at him, adoring his freckles, he looked back at her and made eye contact. And she felt as if her heart just stopped.
"I-" She started, stuttering, looking for something to say, but ended up shutting her mouth since she knew whatever she'll say will make her look stupid.
"Yeah, see ya." He mumbled to the phone and smirked at her as he put down the phone next to him. "Like, were you seriously ogling my face for 2 minutes straight?"
"What!? N-No!" She defended herself in a loud high-pitched voice she didn't intend.
He chuckled, "Sure."
Slience.
It wasn't awkward, but (y/n) wanted to have a conversation with him so badly, cause she knows that he'll leave sooner or later, and then they'll never meet again.
"Stressed is desserts spelt backwards." she said, out of the blue.
"Excuse me?"
"Nothing, just thought I'd let you know..." (y/n) stared at her lap in embarrassment, till she heard one deep beautiful laugh from the boy sitting next to her.
"That was so random!"
"I know, I just wanted to say anything!" She frowned, thinking that he was making fun of her.
"You could've asked about my name or something, not say something like that- I mean, how did you even think of it?"
"Whatever!"
"Then, what's your name?" He said with a wide smirk, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Oh my god what was that? Ew."
"I just moved my eyebrows up and down what's the problem!"
"Isn't that flirting?"
"I didn't mean it like that, so no, no it's not."
She hummed, nodding in understanding, "I'm (y/n)."
"Oh, okay." he shrugged.
"Rude enough? You're supposed to say 'nice to meet you' or something, or even tell me your own name." she crossed his arms and pouted.
"Why would I tell my name to a stranger?"
"Cause I told you mine!"
He frowned, "That's not a good reason."
She clicked her tongue in annoyance, "My bus will be coming soon anyway so goodbye, I guess."
"Oh wait,"
She cocked an eyebrow, trying to look as if she didn't care. She actually really liked him.
"Can I have your number?" He tilted his head adorably and (y/n) glared at him.
"No!"
"Aww come on, I just wanna get to know you." He shoved his phone into her hands.
She huffed, blushing as she took his phone from him and typed in her number, naming it "The bus stop Beauty".
"You shouldn't be going around giving your number to strangers." He said as he took back his phone.
"You're the one who asked!" She shot up from her seat in anger.
He laughed when he saw his bus coming, "Guess I'll be going first! Try not to be so lonely without me."
"As if." She rolled her eyes, but she actually hoped she'd leave before him.
He chuckled and waved at her before going into the bus, and (y/n) immediately felt bored and alone.
That was till she got a text, and her whole face lit up as she guessed who sent it.
Unkown number: my name is felix :)
