Chapter 1

Let me introduce myself, I'm Rose. I am alpha of the Harrison pack. How I got alpha was not as traditional as any other pack. Some packs get new alphas by having someone challenge the old alpha and win. Others the next alpha is the first born son or daughter.

I, however, was not the first born. My father was a monster. All my life I thought he was my hero, my rock. That all changed when my brother turned eighteen. He was now able to take the position as alpha and my father had to step down.

On that day, he killed my mother...and my brother.

"I hate you!" I screamed at my father. Thats when I lost it. I had lost control of my wolf. What happened next was just a blur. I have very little memory at what happened next.

It had been a month since I killed my father. I was now alpha. My pack feared me; and they should I'm the monster my father created and it is my curse to live with.

No other alphas know what has been going on with my pack. I have been missing all the meetings no matter how many invites I was getting.

I groaned sitting at my desk rubbing my temples. So much stress was on my shoulders has alpha. I have no idea how they balance a family and pack duties all in one. I guess thats way there is an Alpha and a Luna in the pack.

I looked up hearing a knock on the door. "Come in!" I called watching as the door opened slowly and the head of my Beta, John, popped his head in.

"The other alphas are requesting that you join them. They say it is urgent that you come, they said it is unavoidable." He said frowning.

Growling, I stood and walked over and grabbed my jacket and opened the door all the way starring at my young Beta. "Please take some guards with you, the other alphas won't react very well once they learn you are Alpha and not a Luna." John said looking at me then looking down at the floor.

I frowned watching him. "John, you have no need to fear me, I am your Alpha and you are my Beta, I trust you with my life. And if it pleases you so I will take a few guards with me. Watch over the pack until I return." I said and walked out to my car.

My heart pounded in my chest as I drove towards the territory of the Ferguson pack. I had never met any of the other Alphas. My father would never let them come to our house for any sort of meetings.

I looked up at the Alpha house. It was quiet impressive to be honest. I climbed out of my car along with my guards and soon was led to the front door by Ferguson's guards.

Swallowing hard, I walked into the meeting room my heart pounding out of my chest. All the blood drained from my face as I felt all eyes on me.

"It's about time the Harrison pack joined one of our meetings. Now where is your father?" Jet Ferguson asked my looking at me.

He was strong despite his old age. I could see his muscles under his shirt. His face showed age but strength within him. I swallowed hard and glanced around the table at the other alphas. Some were young and some old.

"Are you going to answer my question or just stand there?" Jet asked me again looking more directly at me becoming upset.

"I killed him, he won't be coming. I am now Alpha for he killed my mother and my brother." I said keeping my voice strong.

The room went completely quiet as all the males looked at me.

"What...what happened?" Jet asked looking at his glass of water.

I frowned and walked over and sat in the empty seat by him. "I heard screaming coming frown downstairs. It was my mother, screaming for help. My brother grabbed me and shoved me into my room and told me not to come out." I said looking down at the table. I could feel their eyes on me. Taking a deep breath to clam my nerves I looked up at Jet then away.

"I didn't realize that she was killed till after I went down stairs. I heard more commotion. This time outside my room. I could tell it was my father, by the sound of his growling and yelling at my brother. Then there was a loud thump as my brother fell to the floor. I knew he was coming for me next. I had no where else to run, my room was too high for me to jump out the window. Even if I ran away he would've found me."

"He opened the door with such force it slammed into the wall practically falling off the hinges. He looked at me with such rage in his eyes. But there was something else, lust. 'I was saving you my Rose' he said as he walked towards me. Blood splattered across his chest and hands."

I swallowed hard closing my eyes trying not to remember the horrible memory. "He started to come closer to me hunger in his eyes. 'I needed a Luna that was strong and beautiful, your mother was neither of those things. When she had your brother I despised him. If she didn't protect him as well as she did; he would've been dead a long time ago. then you were born, I knew I had a chance. I needed a Luna with the purest of bloodlines. Once you became of age I stared to plan it all out.' He said." I explained and looked over at Jet who was now looking at me. I looked away quickly.

" 'I plan on having more children, not with a any other female but you. You will provide the strongest offspring. You will supply me with an army of strong warriors. I never loved you. I only kept you around to use as my personal breeding stock when the time came.' He told me. Thats when I lost it. I screamed at him and let my wolf take control of me. I became a monster. I tore him to pieces..." I said trailing off tears forming in my eyes. I knew not to show weakness around the Alphas. especially now.

"Rose I'm so sorry to hear of this." Jet said and set his hand on my shoulder.
