Alpha Cody

Chapter 4

I jumped hearing my uncle. I quickly pulled back from Cody and looked at him scared. It's felt as if someone took my voice away. I didn't know how to explain this to him. I didn't want him to know that Cody and I are mates.

"I can't believe you! Taking advantage of her when she is in heat and her mate isn't here to protect her!" Jet yelled at Cody his body tensing. I watched as he balled up his fist as if he was gonna hit Cody.

Before Cody could respond to him my instincts kicked in. I moved in front of Cody quickly to protect him from my Uncle.

Cody set his hand on my shoulder making me jump. "I'll take care of this." He whispered softly and looked up at Jet.

"I wasn't taking advantage of her. I would never do that to her. I want her to move at her own pace. If you haven't figured it out by now let me tell you. We are mates and it's my fault she's in heat." Cody said pulling me behind him protectively.

I quickly took ahold of his hand my heart pounding in my chest fear creeping up my back awaiting my Uncle's response.

Jet looked at us shocked. "Y..you two? I can't believe this." He growled and looked down. "Never in a million years would I have expected you two to become mates. No one expected Cody to find his mate. Then so happens you come along Rose. I should've never introduced you two at the meeting." Jet growled and looked up at us.

I looked at him shocked. How could he say that? Shouldn't he be happy for his only niece. I stepped out from behind Cody tears brimming my eyes.

"Why aren't you happy for us? Why aren't you happy for me?" I growled anger overwhelming me. I was loosing control yet agin of my anger, of my wolf, but I couldn't help it.

"You two will stir up more controversy than ever! Not only does your packs boarder each other but now you will have a combined pack and territories making it the largest pack there is! You will become a threat to everyone!" Jet yelled.

I growled and lunged at him only to be stopped by Cody. "No do not start a fight here. We can't afford a fight." He whispered. He looked up at my Uncle. "If it pleases you so, I will leave my pack and leave my younger brother to assume control as Alpha and join Rose's pack." He said sternly looking at Jet holding his head high to show no weakness.

I turned and looked at him shocked. "N..No I won't let you do that, I will join your pack...I will have my Beta become Alpha. You shouldn't leave your pack. It should be the female to leave." I whispered to him and brushed his cheek to make him look at me.

He looked down at me with lust in his eyes. "You'd do that for me?" He whispered quietly. I smiled big at him. "I would do anything for you my love." I whispered and turned and looked at my uncle and growled.

Jet looked at them and swallowed hard. "I Can't believe you." I snapped and took Cody's hand. "We should leave, its obvious that we are not wanted here." I said and pulled him along. I looked around the crowd for my Beta. "I need to find him to tell him the news." I said and looked at Cody.

Cody frowned and nodded. "Ok but do not leave my site ok?' He asked looking at me worried. I smiled seeing how worried he was for my safety. "Of course." I said and walked away towards a group of Betas.

John looked up at me and swallowed are. "Yes Alpha?" He asked. I glanced around the group seeing all of them become uncomfortable.

I cleared my throat and looked at my Beta. "Tonight I am not going home with you. You can stay however long you'd like." I said and grabbed his arm and pulled him to the side. "Alpha is something wrong?" John asked.

"No. Nothing is wrong. I am going to join my mates pack. You will become Alpha. I will come and get my things tomorrow." I said softly and smiled at him. John looked at me shocked. "Really? I'm so happy for you Rose. Its about time something great has happened to you." He said smiling big.

I blushed red and smiled. "Thank you John, I wish the same to happen to you. I hope you find a mate soon and become happy. You will fit in very well as an Alpha." I said smiling big.

John smiled at me. "If you don't mind me asking, who is your mate?" He asked couriousily. I looked at him then glanced around for Cody. I swallowed hard and smiled. "Cody Akaiyan." I said softly.

John looked at me concerned. "Rose you can't go home with him. You two can't become mates. He is a monster, ruthless, so many males have been saying that who ever is to become his mate they will be miserable. Do not go home with him. Come home with me, at least let me protect you and show you how you should really be loved and cared for." He said taking my hand.

I was speechless. How could he say that about my mate. I don't care about what the rumors said about him. I ripped my hand away from his growing angry. "How dare you say that!" I screamed.

John jumped and backed up. Soon I felt cody grab my arm and pull me into his chest. "Shhh honey you are making a scene." He whispered looking around at everyone turning and looking at us.

I swallowed hard and pressed into Cody. Cody looked at my young Beta. "You better mind your tongue. That is no way to speak to my mate." He growled at him and took my hand. I held his hand tightly scared.

John swallowed hard and looked down. "S...Sorry." He said quietly. I whined loudly to Cody. "Lets go please." I said worried.

Cody growled loudly and took my hand and pulled me towards the front doors soon followed by his Beta. "Sir we are leaving so soon?" He asked.

Cody glanced over at him. "Yes we are Charles now lets go." He said.

Charles looked at me now. "Is this the lady you were telling me about?" He asked grabbing out the car keys and unlocked his car and opening the back door to the car for me and Cody.

"Yes it is." Cody said plainly. I swallowed hard and climbed into the car first followed by my mate. I swallowed hard and pressed into the other door after I buckled in.

Charles climbed into the drivers seat and started the car and headed towards Cody's pack house.

I closed my eyes trying to mentally prepare myself for what is about to happen in my life. I jumped feeling Cody's hand being placed over my exposed thigh from my slit. I looked up at him shocked.

Cody smiled weakly at me. "Sorry about how I just acted, I just wanted to protect you. He shouldn't have said those things to you. What he told you isn't true about me. All of us are monsters deep down." He said softly.

I smiled at him. "Its ok." I said softly unable to say anything else.

Cody hummed and slid his hand further up my thigh. My breath hitched in my throat. "C...Cody what about him?" I whispered motioning with my eyes to Charles.

Cody smirked at me. "He won't know if you are quiet baby girl." He whispered in my ear kissing my neck softly his hand rising higher going under my dress squeezing the inside of my thighs.

I bit my lip hard to hold in a moan. He slowly slid his hand higher up my thigh reaching his destination. I gasped and looked at him. Cody smirked and kissed me softly. Rubbing his hand slowly. "I told you I could take away some of the heat." He whispered softly to me and kissed me again more roughly than before.

My body melted into him. I kissed him back just as rough groaning quietly into his mouth grinding against his hand my breathing already heavy.

Cody growled into my mouth. "You can't baby. You need to save it for later." He growled and pulled his hand away. I whined and looked at him.

"We are here sir." Charles said and parked the car and got out. Cody smirked and me and opened the door for me to climb out.

I cleared my throat and fixed my dress and got out and gasped seeing the house.
