Chapter 21

Rose's POV

I groaned loudly hearing Cody's alarm going off. "Why do you have it set so early?" I cried rolling over away from him.

Cody whined and turned it off and kissed my shoulder. "Because I'm taking you into town. Now get up and get changed. You can sleep in the car." He whispered and got up.

I whined loudly and got up sleepily. "Can you dress me?" I whined.

Cody looked at me and rolled his eyes and walked over to my dresser getting out black leggings and a white undershirt with a light blue lace top.

"How do you want your hair?" He asked pulling my sleeping shirt off and handed me a bra. I hummed and pulled it on sighing.

"Surprise me." I said smiling at him. Cody chuckled and helped me into my leggings then I put my shirts on.

"Sit on the bed." Cody said softly and grabbed out a brush and hair tie

I hummed and sat down titling my head back for him. I closed my eyes feeling him brush my hair back. Cody hummed as he braiding my hair into a ponytail.

"Done." Cody said smiling. I stood and went and looked in the bathroom gasping. "Cody where did you learn to do hair?" I asked

Cody blushed red. "You can thank Claire for that. She made me and Tate both learn." He said shrugged

I laughed at him. "I'm gonna have to thank her for that." I said and put on my mascara.

Cody leaned on the door frame to the bathroom watching me. "You know you don't need that stuff." He said.

I sighed "I know but it's just a habit." I said blushing.

Cody chuckled. "Let go." He said grabbing my purse and headed for the door.

I huffed and followed him and sighed looking around the house and smiling thinking about how it won't just be them and Charles in the house in a few months.

Cody opened the passenger door for me and smiled. "Thank you." I said and got in buckling. I watched Cody as he grabbed his phone and texted someone smiling then got into the car.

I frowned and looked away from him and outside.

'He's still hiding things from me Collins...' I texted Collins trying not to start crying.

I set my hand on my stomach looking out the window.

'Oh Sweetheart He is not hiding anything from you! Trust me I know he tells me everything!' Collins responded

I looked at the text and frowned.

'You probably are upset so..what do you want for your baby? I can get you a present!' Collins texted me again

I groaned. 'Don't spend your money on me. It's bad enough Cody does it'

Cody looked at me before pulling into a park spot. "Sorry it's not closer." He said frowning.

I smiled at him putting my phone in my purse. "It's ok honey we need our exercise anyways. It's healthy to exercise some while pregnant anyways." I said and got out.

Cody whined and followed me taking my hand. I smiled at him and leaned into him and frowned hearing his phone.

I pulled away once we were inside and walked into a maternity store ignoring Cody.

No matter how much he whined at me I ignored him. If he was gonna hide things from me I was gonna ignore him as much as I could.

"Rose honey please look at me." He whined once we walked into a baby store.
