Chapter 24

(Sorry I've been skipping so much I figured you guys wouldn't want me to drag her pregnancy out!!)

**Rose is now eight months pregnant almost nine!**

Rose's POV

I sighed heavily sitting in the bathtub. My stomach sore from my baby moving so much.

I looked down into the water watching my baby press into my stomach moving around. Like a jumping bean in my stomach literally. I can't even remember the last time I got a good nights sleep.

I smiled big. I love my baby so much. I'm actually happy that we chose not to find out the gender. I want it all to be a surprise to everyone. Well except Collins he is the only one that knows and maybe his mate. I just found out recently that he had a mate, I can understand why he kept it a secret. I feel so bad that he is in a coma but I have faith he will wake up soon.

Cody has tried his best to make me comfortable but it just doesn't work sometimes. After the hundredth foot rub it just doesn't feel good anymore.

Cody walked into the bathroom and looked at me frowning. "Another warm bath?" He asked sitting on the toilet once he closed the lid.

I sighed heavily. "Yes just trying to sooth my sore stomach." I said softly and smiled at him. "What's wrong?" I asked seeing how upset he was.

Cody sighed. "I know I said I wasn't going to get involved with the rouge business in the south but they need me. They keep bugging me and I know you are close to your due date honey but I have to go." He said frowning.

I looked away and at the water. "How long?" I asked my voice sharp.

Cody whined Hearing the tone in my voice. "Honey I'm sorry I know you are upset now. But I'll just be gone a few days." He whined.

I growled and looked at him. "A few days! Cody my due date is in two days and you are leaving!" I yelled and got out of the tub holding my stomach and pulled my robe on

Cody whined and stood taking my hand. "Rose honey please forgive me. As soon as they say I can leave I will I promise. I will be here to help you give birth I promise." He said and turned me to face him.

"Promise?" I whispered looking at him suddenly becoming scared that he was leaving me.

Cody brushed my cheek softly. "I promise." He whispered and leaned down and kissed me softly. "Claire is coming over. Tate is leaving also." He whispered.

I nodded and pressed my forehead into his breathing softly.

"Alpha? Tate and Claire are here!" Charles called into our room

Cody sighed. "Get dressed honey while I go greet them." He said and left the bathroom

I groaned and walked out and over to my dresser and grabbed out my clothes. I pulled on my leggings and a baggy shirt and looked at my round stomach still a little visible under the baggy shirt.

Sighing, I walked down the stairs carefully and into the living room hearing voices.

I smiled big watching Taylor play on the floor with some toys. Claire looked up and smiled walking over and hugged me.

"Oh my you have gotten big since the last time I saw you!" Claire gasped. I turned bright red and looked at Cody and Tate then at her. "I know I feel huge." I said blushing more.

Claire giggled and smiled. "When are you due?" She asked. I frowned and looked down at my stomach. "Two days." I whispered.

Claire frowned and looked at Cody. "You are leaving when she's due so soon?" She snapped
