Pain. Pain was all he felt. It hurt so much. He could only watch on as his friends disappeared from sight. He was too weak to fight back, he knew that, but it didn't mean that he didn't want to. He looked up at his captor. The female wolf had a concentrated look on her face. He didn't want to look at her so he took a glance at his surroundings. They were blurry as they rushed past, he was still in the forest but he was so far away. Even if he escaped he wouldn't make it back home, he'd bleed out long before he'd reach his friends. He felt sleep weighing down on him and succumbed as he closed his eyes and drifted off into a deep sleep.
It was over. He was gone. His entire world, gone in an instant. The group returned home, an awful silence hung over them. No words were spoke, all of them afraid that if they spoke the tears would shed. Once they arrived home, he couldn't help himself. One tear fell, then another and before he knew it he was crying. The others came to comfort him but they couldn't heal the hole in his heart. The hole that Jay had left. Once they had finished off the wolves, he was gone. They had searched everywhere but he wasn't anywhere to be found. They had also noticed that the leader of the pack was missing too. Which led them to believe that she had taken him and that he wouldn't be coming back. The bear was now a sniffling crying mess. The love of his life had just been taken from him. The others had begun crying too, over the loss of their friend. After a few minutes of crying and comforting, Zane suggested that they all get some rest. They agreed and went their separate ways. Cole ,however, went outside and looked at the sky, a few stray tears fell. Then with newfound determination, he got up and left. Beginning the search for his boyfriend. He made himself a promise that he wouldn't return until he had Jay, safe in his arms.
He awoke to something poking him. He opened his eyes and saw his kidnapper. He cried out in surprise and backed away. She just came closer. "W-What do you w-want?" "I want revenge, so you are staying with me, until I can think of how to torture you for what you've done." "It wasn't my fault. I was just trying to stay alive, he shouldn't have jumped!" "I don't care what you think, rabbit. But you will pay." She hit him again and turned her back on him. He noticed that they were in an underground cave. He tried to lie down but a searing pain in his chest stopped him. He saw a large scratch across it, and it was still bleeding. How was he still alive?!? He watched the wolf in front of him, interested. If he was going to be here for a while, he should at least get to know her. "Uh, what's your name?" "Why do you care? Don't you have bigger things to worry about?" "Well since I'm staying here, I thought it would be good to get to know each other...""No thanks. I know what you're up to. Trick me into becoming your friend then escaping when I least expect it." She watched as the bunny's expression fell. "No, I wasn't planning on doing that, I just thought that we're going to get pretty lonely here by ourselves-" "Who said it's going to be just us?" The fear in his eyes were obvious. "W-Who...?" "You will find out soon enough." She turned away from him, "Oh, and just a warning. You should be scared of HIM." Jay watched on, absolutely terrified. Who was this person and what were they going to do to him? He needed to get out of there, but there was no way that was happening with this injury. "C-Could you bandage up my s-scratches...?" She glanced at them, "Forgot about that. Fine, wait there." She walked towards the back of the cave and returned a few minutes later, holding bandages in her paws. "Stay still." She came way too close for Jay's comfort but he ignored the feeling and flinched once or twice when she brushed against the wound. She finally finished up and suddenly the bunny felt exhausted. So he lied down and drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
Once she had made sure that he was asleep, she crept out into the woods. She had recently been feeling paranoid about his friends showing up before she could get her revenge, so most nights she guarded her new secret hideout. She knew that she couldn't fight the whole group off, she had to whittle them down. One by one. She gazed up at the moon and a single tear shed. She missed him, she missed him so much. Her brother, the one who was supposed to protect her, was gone. She didn't know much about fighting, he was still teaching her. But now he was gone. She glanced back and contemplated marching back in there and murdering the bunny in his sleep. But for some reason she turned back around and stared into the forest, keeping an eye out for anything that could've resembled his group of friends.
