Moving to Manchester was a big thing for Dan. Rydell High was always full of homophobes and triggers, maybe this school would be better! Roaming the halls at Rydell was never advised unless you were friends with Alex - the main bully. 16, a jock, most popular boy in the school, alcoholic, party goer, ex best friend of Dan. He was also a bully.
But maybe at the school in Manchester he would be liked? Maybe? But what if everyone found out that he was gay and used it against him, or the fact that his mother had a mental disability.
He didn't know if this was a good idea anymore. He lived with his grandparents, who were concerned for his safety, as to them the modern world is a terrifying place.
(I would start a new chapter but this is so short omfg. Sorry guys I'm shit at this)
Chapter 2.5: The First Day
"Rise and shine, motherfuckers, it's a brand new day. Are you gonna stay in bed all day like a wuss, or are you gonna get up and grab life by the titballs. Is you a wu-"
Dan thwacked the Dismiss button on his alarm and stood up slowly. Day 1 at the Manchester Royal Grammar School. Day 1.
He picked out black skinny jeans, black converse, a black top with a white ring on it and layer them on his bed. Slipping a little, he jumped into the shower and twisted the cog before the warm spray drowned his thoughts.
After scrubbing his body and shampooing his hair, Dan leapt out of the shower and dried himself. He dashed back to his room in his boxers and proceeded to get changed. Once ready, he blow dried and straightened his hair, before heading downstairs.
He reached the kitchen and decided his grandparents must still be asleep. After downing a bowl of crunchy nut, he grabbed a pen and paper and wrote a quick note.
