Worenia
Eun ho could hear voices, but she failed to make out anything that the voices said. She tried to open her eyes but to no avail. Her body felt weak and she was feeling cold. She tried again to open her eyes but again her eyes refused to open. The last thing that she remembered was Jongin's wings and how they had triggered something which gave her a massive headache.
Little by little her body started responding to her and she opened her eyes slowly. Everything was a blur and she had to blink a couple of times to get a clear vision. A big chandelier was hanging from a dome-shaped ceiling above her. Paintings of angels decorated the ceilings. Candles were used to illuminate the room with a soft glow.
Eun ho sat up on the bed, clutching her forehead, headache spiking her temples. She was wearing a pale pink nightgown falling right below her knees with rose designs on it. She took the glass of water kept on the nearby table and gulped it down. It was a grand room. She looked around and saw Suho, Lay, and an elderly woman sitting in the drawing-room attached to the bedroom. Lay's eyes flickered towards her and he stood up and walked towards her side.
"Eun ho! Are you alright?" They all stood near her bed. She tried to say something but her throat felt dry, even though she had downed a glass of cold and refreshing water her throat still felt like it was stuffed with cotton. The elderly woman seemed to understand her and said," maybe something warm will help your sore throat, my dear, maybe some rose tea with honey" She left them alone and went to prepare the warm drink.
Eun ho was desperate to know about Jongin, If he was okay or not. So many questions she wanted to ask him." Hyung?" She said in a small voice. Suho hummed. Resting his arms around her shoulder as her eyes were watering. Lay was talking to what seemed like one of the servants
" Where is Jongin?" Suho sighed at this and pecked her forehead." Don't you worry about him, he is completely fine. You will meet him later." Lay said, coming back and sitting on the bed.
Suho helped her climb out of bed. They stood near the french windows, the sun was about to rise and some of the stars were fading away from the sky. They were definitely far from the city.Instead of tall buildings that kissed the city's skyline, there were only giant pine trees that stood majestically on the hilly slopes and mist covering them. The river flowing in between the valleys looked like a white ribbon in the distance. Eun ho took a deep breath, fresh and crisp air helped her refresh her mind. Then it struck her, all the things which she remembers now, made her feel like never before. She remembered everything, everything about her and Jongin.
" Suho Hyung" Eun ho said still looking outside the window," I remember everything now, Worenia, Jongin. I just feel so overwhelmed.." Suho chuckled softly from behind her." Well, it seems like we all can give up on worrying about, you never getting your memories back" Suho said. She turned to look at her cheerful Hyung. Lay chuckled seeing him so excited.
The elderly lady from before came holding a tray. A teapot, steaming cups, and delicious tarts. As soon as she saw the tarts she realized that she was starving. The woman smiled at her warmly and told everyone to take a seat. Eun ho sat on her bed and the others took their seats around her. The smell of freshly plucked roses and the sweetness of the honey filled her nostrils.
The cups were elegantly decorated with golden swirls on their surface and little rose designs sculpted on the handle. Eun ho had expected that the tea would be reddish-pink or petals of roses would be there, but to her surprise, the tea was slightly pastel pink and a tiny rose flower sat at the bottom. Golden swirls could also be seen on the surface, One sip and warmth flooded her.
Her mind was still stuck on Jongin though. where was he? She didn't realize the doors of the room opening and the others stepping inside and halting in their steps with gasps falling from their lips. Suho gestured them to come, and soon they all were sitting with her chatting and laughing. Still, there was no sign of Jongin. Her eyes fixed at the mahogany doors, waiting for them to be opened and Jongin walking in.
