Eun ho had managed to get away from Damaris, it was a little difficult as he was going all out on her, but she had managed to injure him enough to push him away but not enough to kill him. the watchtower was destroyed as they fought and Damaris had managed to create a huge gash on her arm, which made her arm, soaked completely in red, she also suffered a head injury which was caused when Damaris attacked her as the tower had started to fall, she had turned around and pushed him with great forcing making him slam against the walls, and when the tower hit the ground she barely managed to escape from under the tower, but after that Damaris was nowhere to be seen, maybe he was not able to escape when the building fell.
she limped away from the destroyed building and looked up to see Jongin fighting with the woman with red hair. but something didn't feel right. Jongin was not really attacking her back, instead, he was only defending himself. the Jongin she had seen was ruthless in the fighting grounds, why was he holding back. she had to get on top of the castle to reach him, " Chen Hyung! " She shouted to get the male's attention, who quickly turned to her after killing an angel.
" provide me some cover " she shouted. Eun ho ran towards the castle walls, and as neared the stone wall, she formed a ramp which gave her an easy way to get to the top. She ran up to the edge and set her eyes on Jongin, the guy was still not attacking, " something is very wrong. " Eun ho said to no one, just as she was about to attack the woman to distract her from attacking Jongin, but the scene that unfolded in front of her made her heart skip a beat.
Iduna had buried her sword deep inside Jongin's stomach, and within seconds the remaining whiter portion of his songs disappeared his wings were now a dark raven black in color. the members halted in their actions. that's it, Jongin's curse was complete, there was no turning back for him. Iduna's sinister laugh filled the surrounding. " the Prince is as good as dead, Worenia will kneel to its new queen now. " her loud voice boomed.
Eun ho couldn't hear anything, as she saw Jongin fall. her world faded once she saw the sword deeply buried in him. she started running towards him, and right before Jongin's body could hit the ground, she created a shield to protect his body from smashing the ground. she had never conjured up a shield but at the moment she didn't even register that she did something which she had never done before to protect him.
all Eun ho wanted was to get closer to the unconscious man, and see if he is okay, a part of her knew that hoping for him o be okay was way too far-fetched but she still held on to that hope desperately. just before she could reach out to him, someone pushed her back and held her tightly, not letting her go any closer to Jongin. " Hyung, let me go. " she struggled in Lay's arms as he tried her best to hold her back.
" no Eun ho, he is not himself right now. "Lay said, increasing her grip on her. she still fought him to get out of his grip and run to the man lying on the ground now. " stop struggling child, your prince is no more the person you used to know. he is one of my dark angels now, The prince, the heir of Worenia now serves me!! " Iduna said as she looked at the scene down below. Eun ho didn't hear a word she said, she didn't want to, nor did she wanted to believe that there was no way Jongin could be brought back. she needed him desperately, once before she already lost him, she won't be able to bear the pain if she lost him this time with no hope of his return.
suddenly Jongin moved, Eun ho froze in her actions, was he okay? but, it was not it. Jongin stumbled as he got on his feet, his gigantic wings, now painted absolutely black making him lose his balance. as he turned around, everyone's eyes widened in horror. his eyes were blood red, his breathing heavy, and his hands that were wrapped around his sword were filled with black veiny lines, making it look like cracked porcelain.
Lay's grip on Eun ho loosened as he was in a state of shock, looking at his dongsaeng, which gave her a chance to break free and approach Jongin. before Lay could register what happened, she was already close to Jongin,
