All the members were surrounding Chanyeol's bed, when Eun ho entered the room shared by the couple. The members turned at the sound of the door opening and Suho stood from his seat, once he saw it was none other than Eun ho. He offered her to sit where he was sitting initially, but she politely declined and told the elder that it was perfectly fine.

Eun ho went and stood beside Kyungsoo, who greeted her with his blank face, " How are you feeling now hyung? " Eun ho asked. Chanyeol smiled a little. It hurt him a little to talk, but he had been worse conditions before so this much pain he could endure easily.

" I'm feel fine, just the pain in the head and some sort of a sore throat." Chanyeol answered. "I'm glad you are back with us hyung." Eun ho said, returning the smile. " Hyung, if it's okay for you, then can you tell what exactly happened back in Brumous? " Sehun questioned.

All the members wanted to know what happened after they all went through the portal and the two of them were left behind. Baekhyun visibly stiffened at the mention of the incident in Brumous. His fingers clenched into fists as he tried to not let the image of a bloody chanyeol flood his brain.

Chanyeol sensed that even though Baekhyun might wanna know what happened. But the smaller was still too sensitive of the incident and Chanyeol doesn't even know how his partner was able to keep calm and not just go insane, because if it was him in Baekhyun's shoes, he might've already been on the way to insanity.

He grabbed Baekhyun's hand between his hands and lightly massaged it, to somewhat try and take away the stiffness of the latter. It did help Baekhyun to relax, but he was still a little uncomfortable with the topic, but that also went away, when Chanyeol planted a soft kiss on the smaller's forehead.

A smile spread on the members faces as they witnessed the sweet scene, Eun ho was incredibly happy, that the lovely couple were back to being the sweet lovey dovey couple that they used to be. And this time even Sehun had a smile on his face, he didn't gagged seeing their sweet moment, in fact, he seemed all the more relieved that his hyungs were back to being their usual self and Baekhyun's genuine box smile had returned.

After making sure that Baekhyun was okay, Chanyeol began, " Well, after the portal closed, Jongin just straight up landed on the ground. The black angels were surrounding him and I didn't really knew what to do, since they were so many in number, and we were only both of us, I didn't knew if Jongin was even conscious or not. I created a fire wave which helped me to just pick up Jongin without the angels crashing down on us. Thankfully Jongin was still in his senses, but I could feel that his aura was degrading very quickly, and his wings were turning. I quickly helped him towards the area where Hongjoong was going to open the portal, but then Damaris appeared."

The members all listened with their full attention. Especially Kyungsoo and Luhan, they were looking for clues, which might give them a clear answer or confirm their suspicions of the matter. Chanyeol continued.

" Damaris talked about something along the lines, of how his mother's bidding will be done, no matter what happens. I was really confused as to why he mentioned his mother. He talked about how he waited for eight years for the moment to see Jongin on the ground, losing the battle, and.... Not being able to do anything to turn the tables. " Eun ho gritted her teeth. She felt the rage in her heart at Damaris's word. There was no way Jongin was going to lose the battle against him, ever. She won't let him.

" But there was something weird, their was a very dark mass, almost like a cloud hovering a little further from where Damaris was. At first I thought it might be smoke or something else, but while Damaris talked, I noticed the dark mass didn't move like smoke or any other thing. It was moving as if it was being manipulated. But the next thing I know, the fire wave was gone and the black angels advanced on us. I couldn't really protect myself and Jongin much from their attacks because they were just so many and so fast that it felt almost impossible to keep on going while. Manipulating my powers and also looking out for Jongin, I didn't realise when I got attacked. But thankfully I saw Hongjoong coming out of the portal and helping us, I don't really remember what Damaris said, but the buts that I remember after I got attacked were something along the lines of the son of the protectors.... I don't know what he said after that or what he meant by that. " Chanyeol finished.
