Xiumin wandered near the dark forest, after six weeks this forest will be on fire and he knew it. with Eun ho gone the atmosphere was less tense but he could still feel the anticipation, every single one was feeling within the castle. the people of Worenia were told to evacuate and Jongin had shut himself in his study.
there was a time when he would've loved it, the seriousness Jongin showed towards his duties but now he couldn't feel that. this battle could end them, Jongin is already vulnerable with Eun ho not by his side and his encounter which he finally told all of them after she left, leaving an even more furious Suho. he saw Chen coming towards him holding a picnic basket, Xiumin smiled at him and waved. Chen waved back and stole a kiss from him when he placed the basket on the ground. " a picnic huh?" Xiumin asked while looking at the basket. " yep, I thought you might get gloomy with all the tension going on in the castle." he replied. it was really sweet of Chen to think of that but Xiumin was really not in the mood to have a picnic but he didn't want to spoil Chen's mood. they entered the forest hand in hand, smiling at each other. from outside the forest looked like a dark and shadowy place, but from the inside, it was bright and cheerful, with sunlit groves, beautiful tall cedars, oaks and sparkling waterfalls, which plunged effortlessly into shimmering ponds.

they reached a waterfall. the river bed could be seen because of the clean water making it look a beautiful sea green colour. the moss covered rocks were slightly damp but soft to sit on. sunlight poured from between the trees. Xiumin closed his eyes and let the music of nature fill his ears and relax him. the chirping of birds and the sound of gushing water made his insides relax, all the worry and anxiety seemed to vanish. he was glad that Chen took him out for a picnic he realizes that he really needed one to relax.
they sat there for a while enjoying each other's presence. " what do you think will happen?" Xiumin asks, " don't worry everything will be fine. our alliances have already been warned. " Chen replied. " what about Eun ho?" " they reached safely, Kyungsoo enrolled in the same school and Sehun is trying to look out for the stalker," he replied. nobody in the castle liked the idea of sending Eun ho away while they were getting ready for the war. if something happened to her everyone knew that Jongin will be affected the most and that was something which will cost them too high a price which may also include giving up their lives.

" no, you are just being paranoid. here, have something to eat," he replied and handed him a sandwich. Xiumin still looked in that direction where the leaves now looked as if no one touched them. he began to eat, maybe his mind was playing tricks. after a few minutes, he saw something from the corner of his eyes. he snapped his head towards it. the sandwich long was forgotten and Xiumin started running towards it. Chen surprised at his sudden behavior started running after him. Xiumin ran deep into the forest, by the time he stopped he was in the middle of nowhere. Xiumin tried to look for any movement but he could find none. suddenly he felt as if somebody was running towards him, just when the sound came very close to him. he spun around bringing his elbows up as he does, and thrust it towards his face. " ugh!! " Chen held his nose where he got hit. " o god! babe, I'm so sorry."
