Stepping into Iker’s room that night, Aliona sighed as she closed the door quietly behind her as she made sure that no one had seen her; she knew that they needed to talk before things got too serious between them and one of them got hurt.

The blonde had decided to wear a red bow peplum top and black skinny jeans paired with black strapped heeled ankle boots; Iker smiled at her when he spotted her.

“Hola,” he greeted as he moved towards her, the blonde returned his smile as she licked her lips; she knew how easy it would be to forget that they were here to talk.

“Hola how was your day?” Aliona asked making Iker sigh as he watched her, he knew that something was bothering her and it worried him slightly about what he wanted to talk about.

The blonde sighed as she moved towards him and stopped just in front of him, she looked up into his brown eyes; she knew that she had to be truthful with him.

“You wanted to talk,” Iker prompted making her nod as she moved to sit down on his bed; the blonde looked at him as she tried to sort out her thoughts.

“I really like you Iker, but if we are going to give this a go then there are things that you need to be aware of,” Aliona said as Iker moved to sit next to her; the blonde ran a hand through her hair and sighed as she wondered where she wanted to start.

“Daniel is a very powerful man now, no one here in the mountains will cross him,” Aliona said softly as she remembered how alone she had been when he had walked out on her; people avoided her like the plague and still did in some places.

“After I fell pregnant and he left, no one would really speak with me. It was like they didn't want to upset Daniel, like he had this power of my life even after we had finished,” Aliona said sadly as Iker listened; he didn't know what it was but he was starting to dislike the father of Aliona’s twins more than he already did.

The blonde closed her eyes as she tried to find a way to explain how powerful Daniel’s influence was; she didn't think that Iker really understood what he was getting himself into by being with her.

“Aliona… I’m not scared of your ex-boyfriend,” Iker said shaking his head making her look at him; she knew that she wasn’t explaining this very well and that he needed to know what could happen if Daniel discovered them.

“Iker, Daniel has interfered with my life for years, if he were to discover that you were interested in me, he would make your life hell,” Aliona said making Iker stare at her; he licked his lips for a moment while the blonde looked away from him. Taking a deep breath Iker shook his head.

“I don’t care let him try,” he said making Aliona look at him which allowed Iker to claim her lips and push her back onto the bed.

Iker nuzzled his head against Aliona’s as they lay in his bed; he wasn’t going to let her ex-boyfriend ruin what he had with her. Iker knew that things were still new between them but he didn't care, he wanted Aliona and nothing was going to stop him from having her.

“Did you mean it?” the blonde asked making Iker look at her, he knew that she was nervous about getting involved with him but he didn't care; he wasn’t going to let someone he had never met destroy this.

“Of course, I don’t care what your ex-boyfriend thinks, he lost any rights to you when he walked out while you were pregnant,” Iker said making Aliona smile softly as she realised that he wasn’t going to give up; she had waited years for someone like Iker.

“Have dinner with me tonight?” Iker said making Aliona stare at him, she hadn’t been expecting him to say that to her; he nuzzled her neck as he waited for her answer.

“I mean it Aliona, I wish to take you on a date,” Iker said as the blonde tried to sort through her shocked thoughts; she hadn’t imagined that he would ever ask her such a thing.

“I want this to work nena, you aren’t just some fling to me anymore, I want us to be exclusive,” Iker said softly making Aliona look at him, she never expected anyone to desire that from her; most avoided her because of her connection to Daniel, while others wanted nothing to do with her because of the twins.

“You want me to be your girlfriend?” Aliona asked, she wanted to make sure that she was understanding him correctly; Iker nodded as he kissed down her neck, he wanted nothing more than to be able to call her his.

The blonde sighed as she ran her fingers through his hair, she wondered if she was ready for something like this; she had never expected things to be serious between them, he was a footballer who had just had his heartbroken.

“Iker, you’ve just come out of a long term relationship,” Aliona said making him pull away from her and look at her, he watched her for a moment before he kissed her lips.

The Spaniard deepened the kiss making Aliona feel breathless; she wrapped her arms around his neck and laced her fingers in his hair to pull him back. Iker panted as he rested his head against Aliona’s.

“I want this Aliona… I want you,” he said breathlessly as his eyes stared deep into hers; the blonde searched his brown eyes for a lie but couldn't find it before she sighed and nodded.

“Okay,” Aliona agreed as she looked at him, Iker grinned as he claimed her lips again; he felt like he was finally starting to heal after what Sara had done to him.

Back in the Madrid capital, Sara was leaning against her apartment window; her brown eyes scanned the view as she thought about all that had happened since she had lost Iker.

The reporter hated to admit it but she missed him more than she thought she would, she had never thought that she would be without him so suddenly.

Sara sighed as her new boyfriend wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled him back against his chest; he was the model that Iker had caught her in bed with that had ended her relationship with him.

“Are you coming to bed?” Afron asked making Sara force a smile as she turned to face him, she pecked his lips as she looked at him; she often pretended that he was Iker when they were in bed together.

“Soon,” the brunette said making him nod before he headed back to the bedroom to wait for her, she sighed softly as she pulled the engagement ring out of her pocket; she had kept hold of it after Iker had dropped it on the floor.

The reporter wondered what she could do to make things right between them, she had lost a lot of work since it had come out that Iker had ended things with her; not that anyone knew why, they hadn’t guessed that she was the reason behind the break-up.

Taking a deep breath, Sara slipped the ring back into her jeans pocket; she was going to have to wait until Iker returned from the Real Madrid secret retreat to speak with him.

Heading towards the bedroom, Sara hoped that she could make things right between them; she needed Iker in her life and would do anything to get him back.
