Iker grinned as he took Aliona’s hand as they walked into the hospital, today was the date of the blonde’s nine week scan; the Spaniard had insisted that he come with her so that he could see their baby.

Ever since Iker had discovered that Aliona was expecting his child, the Spaniard was thrilled with the thought of becoming a father; he loved Liam and Lola and he couldn't wait to have a child of his own.

Carmen had been furious that he had managed to get Aliona pregnant after only dating her for ten weeks while he had been with Sara for two years and nothing had come from it.

“How are you feeling?” Iker asked as Aliona signed herself in for her appointment with Allison; the blonde looked at boyfriend and rolled her eyes as she nodded her head.

Iker sighed as he wrapped an arm around Aliona, this was all new to him and he knew that Aliona had been through this before but he didn't know what to expect.

“Iker, I’m fine,” the blonde said as they moved to sit in the waiting room, she pressed a small kiss to her lips as she sat down in the waiting room.

Iker smiled as he sat down next to Aliona, he knew that they still had a long way to go before their child was born but Iker hoped that the child would be okay; he didn't want to lose something that meant so much to him so soon.

The couple didn't have to wait long before Allison appeared and called Aliona into the consultation room; the midwife stared at Iker as she watched Aliona take his hand and led him to where they would have the scan.

After a routine check over, Iker watched as Allison prepared Aliona for the scan; he licked his lips nervously as his girlfriend took his hand in comfort.

The blonde took a deep breath knowing that this was the moment that would reveal if everything was alright with her unborn baby; Aliona sighed in relief as the baby’s heartbeat sounded in the room.

Iker stared at the screen in wonder as he listened to the healthy heartbeat sounded in the room, Aliona’s eyes were focused on the screen; she watched the healthy image of their unborn baby.

“Everything looks good,” Allison told the couple as she looked at them, it was clear that they had both been worried about the baby that Aliona was carrying.

“Your due date is the fourth week of May,” Allison said making Iker nod his head as he attempted to work out what he would be doing that week; he wanted to be a part of Aliona’s pregnancy.

Aliona sat up and cleaned off her stomach from the gel as Allison made some notes about the appointment; the couple weren’t going to tell anyone until Aliona was a little further along in her pregnancy.

Iker couldn't fight the smile that formed on his face as he watched Aliona prepare lunch for them and the twins; the two of them knew that something was going on between Iker and their mother but they didn't know what.

“What do you think we will have?” the Spaniard asked making Aliona roll her eyes as she handed the twins their lunch; she knew that Iker was excited about the idea of becoming a father.

Glancing at the twins, Aliona shrugged as she thought for a moment; she honestly didn't mind which they had as long as the baby was healthy.

“I don’t mind… what about you?” Aliona asked making Iker look at her for a moment before turning his attention to the twins; he loved Liam and Lola, he was being to see them as his own so he didn't really mind what he was going to have with Aliona.

“I don’t either… I would love a son but I wouldn’t mind a daughter either,” Iker admitted making his girlfriend nod her head, the couple smiled at one another before the phone rang making Aliona flash Iker a smile as he moved to answer it.

Moving back to the twins, Aliona smiled at the thought of having more children with Iker; he was already more of a father to Liam and Lola than Daniel had ever been.

Aliona held back a frown as she thought about her ex-boyfriend; he had already cancelled his last few visitations since Aliona had moved in with Iker.

The blonde paused as she heard the distress in her boyfriend’s voice, Aliona licked her lips as she headed to see what was happening; Iker glanced at her as he ran a hand through his hair.

“Is there any way to stop her?” the Spaniard asked as Aliona looked at him worried, she could tell that something bad had happened but she just wasn’t sure what; through she had a feeling that it was something to do with his ex-girlfriend.

Closing his eyes, Iker disconnected the call while Aliona watched him concerned; she looked at him wondering what had happened.

“Sara’s been selling stories about you and me,” Iker said as he looked at Aliona, who frowned at the mention of Iker’s reporter ex-girlfriend; the blonde didn't know what to say at the thought that Sara was meddling in her life.

Iker wrapped his arms around Aliona, who sighed as she rested her head against his and closed her eyes.

“Don’t worry nena… I won’t let her get to us,” Iker said making Aliona look up and smile at him, the Spaniard kissed her lips wondering what he was going to do about Sara’s lies.

Aliona sighed as she looked at the papers that were spread on the kitchen table; she pursed her lips wondering what Sara had hoped to get out of this.

Iker wrapped his arms around Aliona, her parents had called worried about what they had read in the papers and it had taken nearly an hour to calm them down.

“It’ll be okay Aliona… don’t get worked up nena, it isn’t good for the baby,” Iker said making the blonde turn to look at him, his brown eyes searched her green eyes; he kissed her softly and held her close concerned what this could be doing to their unborn child.

Aliona wrapped her arms around Iker’s neck as she pulled back slightly and hurried her head into his neck as she took deep breathes; she wasn’t used to people doing this to her.

Trailing a hand up and down Aliona’s back Iker attempted to calm her, he looked at the newspapers that were spread over the table; he couldn't believe that Sara had done this.

He wondered what had happened to the woman that he had once loved; he wondered if she had ever truly existed.

“We’ll be okay?” Aliona asked softly as she looked up at him, the Spaniard nodded his head at her before he kissed her; he wasn’t going to let Sara destroy what he had with Aliona.

“We’ll be more than okay,” Iker promised her making the blonde nod her head before the twins called out for their mother, Aliona flashed Iker a smile before she left him to check on them.

Iker watched Aliona leave before he turned his attention to the papers, he frowned wondering what Sara hoped to achieve by printing such lies in the papers; she had tried to speak with him after the match the other day and he had refused to do so.
