Aliona grinned as she balanced Luca on her hip, the blonde was currently watching Iker play in the confederations cup; the twins were chatting excitedly while they watched their father.
Aliona wasn’t sure why she was so surprised that Iker had insisted that they join him in Brazil, they had already agreed to spend some time in the country after the competition was over for a nice quiet holiday.
Luca was now three months old and it was clear that being born premature wasn’t going to have any effect on him; Aliona smiled down at the infant as she moved to sit down next to the twins.
The little boy played with the sterling silver & cubic zirconia triple heart pendant that Iker had gotten for Aliona’s twenty-seventh birthday.
Aliona was currently wearing a white/green cross stitch kaftan and white city shorts paired with white heels; she was surprised just how warm it was in Brazil, the blonde checked on the twins before turning her attention back to Luca.
“Mama when will we see Papa?” Lola asked as she looked at her mother, the blonde glanced at her daughter knowing that there was still a little time left until the end of the match
“Soon he’s playing football,” Aliona replied as Luca turned his attention to her engagement ring and started to play with it.
The blonde smiled softly as she thought about her and Iker’s wedding plans, the press had reported that they were getting married the summer of the Brazilian world cup but that was far from the truth.
The couple had decided to marry over the Christmas break in hopes of being able to keep the press away from the ceremony, it also gave them time to organise the wedding since Aliona had found a new job.
The blonde had been a little surprised when her former supervisor at the Mountain hospital had approached her with a job offer; he had decided to open his own surgery and Aliona had been thrilled at the idea at being able to continue being a doctor.
As well as the reduced hours, Aliona also now had time to spend with the twins and Iker as well as travel where ever she needed to be without having to worry.
Iker had been happy that his fiancée had found something that made her happy, not only was Aliona helping to save people but the new surgery also worked closely with the universities and often had medical students interning at the surgery.
“Aliona… I was wondering where you were,” Pilar said as she moved to sit next to the blonde, she grinned as she spotted Luca making Aliona laugh as she handed her friend the infant; it was clear that Pilar adored the child and that Sergio knew that his girlfriend wanted children of her own.
“How’s my favourite boy?” Pilar cooed as she settled Luca on her lap, she smiled as she cuddled the little boy, who was more interested in playing with his teddy bear.
“I can’t believe that he’s getting so big… there is no denying that he is Iker’s son,” Pilar said making Aliona nod her head, she remembered some of the headlines that had come about after Luca had been born.
They had all rushed to point out that he had been born earlier than expected and it didn't matter that Luca was premature some had even gone as far to say that the little boy wasn’t Iker’s.

Iker grinned as he hurried towards his fiancée and the children, he couldn't believe that Spain had gotten through to the next round of the confederations cup.
He hadn't played a lot for Real Madrid since his injury and had been surprised when Del Bosque had included him in the squad; he was even happier when it was announced that Mourinho was leaving Real Madrid.
Iker had never had a problem with Diego Lopez, other than the fact that he had been brought in to replace him; Diego had often apologised repeated after he had replaced Iker, he felt horrible that he had been dragged into the dispute between the manager and the captain.
Iker smiled as he lifted Luca from Aliona’s arms before he moved to cuddle the twins as well, the Spaniard would never tell his fiancée so but she was the reason why things between Jose and him had gone sour.
Jose hadn't been pleased when Iker and Aliona had started dating, he was convinced that he was only going to hurt the blonde and her children; however ever the stubborn man, he had refused to apologise when it became clear that Iker really did care for Aliona.
Jose hadn't meant to allow what was happening in the personal lives meddle into their working relationship however it had and had resulted in a lot of suffering at the club.
“You played wonderfully,” Aliona said as Iker looked at his fiancée, he smiled at her words as he nodded in acknowledgment at some of his team-mates; Aliona smiled as Luca started to get a little fussy.
“I think we better head back to the hotel, Luca would like to take his nap soon,” the blonde said making Iker nod his head as he handed the little boy back to his mother.

“He looks so peaceful,” Iker mused as he watched Luca sleep, the twins were watching some television and it would be a while before they would go to dinner; Aliona nodded her head as she wrapped her arms around Iker’s waist.
“It’s the quietest he’s been for a while,” Aliona replied making Iker chuckle as he turned to face the blonde, he knew that he was missing out on the night time feeds since he was staying in a different room from his family.
The Spaniard grinned as he kissed her lips, he couldn't believe that it had nearly been a year since they had met; their anniversary was quickly approaching and he couldn't help but be thankful that he had found her.
“I love you,” Iker whispered softly as he held his fiancée close, he didn't know what he would have ever done without her in his life.
“I love you too,” Aliona replied as she pulled his lips back to hers, she loved Iker more than anything and would do anything for him; he and the children meant everything to her. The blonde pulled away with a smile on her face making Iker look at her confused.
“I told you all those months ago that love was out there for you and that you’d find someone who loved you more than Sara ever did,” Aliona said making Iker chuckle as he remembered that night from last year; he couldn't believe that she had been right. Iker kissed her lips as he held her close.
“I guess that I’ll just have to get used to you being right,” the Spaniard mused making Aliona laugh and nod her head softly before he kissed her again.
After all those months together, Iker knew that he wouldn’t change a thing if he could go back in time; the love that he held for Aliona and their family meant the world to him.
It had gotten him through hard times and had made him a better man than he had been several months ago, he knew that he wasn’t the same man that he had been when he had Sara; he was a better man for having met Aliona.
“How about we work on baby number four?” Aliona breathed as she glanced at Luca, who was fast asleep; Iker grinned at the idea hoping that his son would remain asleep and the twins distracted.
THE END.
