Betty's POV
Jug decided to get back into school. With him already living here it would be easier to adapt back into school life than if he were in Toledo. His parents support his decision and said that he needed to get back to normal life anyway. But as we both walked towards the school hand in hand I definitely appreciated having him there. "Jug." I gasped. He immediately pulled me closer and held me tighter.

"Let's go to the blue and gold room." He mumbled. I nodded and we left. We got into the blue and gold room. I sat down. He paced back and forth biting his nails. He threw off his beanie in anger and ran his hands through his raven locks. I immediately stood up and walked towards him. I cupped his face and he looked into my eyes. He was still tense and angry for sure but looking at me seemed to calm him down.

"Breath Jug." I told him. He sighed. He pulled me into a hug and kissed the top of my head. "It's going to be ok." I Said into his chest. He nodded before pulling away.

"I just don't understand Why the ghoulies are here." He sighed.

"I don't either but we'll find out. Don't stress ok. It's not good for you." I Said. He smiled at me and held my hands.

"I love you so much. Thank you." He stated.

"I love you too." I replied. "How about I go and talk to Mr.Weatherbee? You stay here and try to calm down. I don't want you stressing," I suggested.

"No I'm coming. I'm not letting you stay here alone." He replied. I nodded. We linked hands and walked to the front office. I came in and asked for the principal. They led me to him. Jug and I sat down in the chairs in front of his desk.

"What do you students need? Class should be starting soon." Mr. Weatherbee Said.

"Yes but I was just wondering why the ghoulies were here." I Said.

"Yes. Well it seems someone trashed their school and they are taking their studies here temporarily until their school is built again." Mr. Weatherbee explained.

"Oh. Ok thank you sir." I replied.

"Of course. Now get back to class students." He said waving us off. Jug and I stood up and left. As we walked to class Jughead had slowed down and I hadn't realized so I turned a corner without him. He was tying his shoes but I didn't notice I had walked off until I bumped into a ghoulie. Malachi.

"Hey...What's your name?" He asked trying to flirt. I turned around and looked for Jug only to notice he was gone. "Who are you looking for? Cause we should just skip." He suggested walking closer I rolled my eyes and pushed him off.

"I'm looking for my boyfriend." I stated.

"Who's your boyfriend?" He chuckled.

"Jughead Jones. JUG!" I Yelled. Jughead cane bounding the corner and walked up beside me to put his arms around my waist. Malachi looked shocked.

"Whatever." He said rolling his eyes and walking off. I looked at jug and smiled sadly.

"I'm so sorry Betty. I stopped to tie my shoe and I Said I was but I guess you didn't hear me. I didn't mean for any of this to happen." He rambled. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm fine Jughead. Calm down. I love you. Let's head to class." I Said holding his hand. He kissed my cheek before nodding and leading us to our first period. As we sat down I noticed Malachi staring at me. Jughead immediately became jealous and pulled me closer to him, wrapping an arm around me waist. He glared at Malachi. I smiled at thankfully at Jughead and turned my attention back to the lesson. After class we had two more periods and we made it through. After three classes it was free period and I was thankful. Jug and I sat in the student lounge. Malachi walked in and sat across from us. He smirked at me

"What are you doing here Malachi. Leave." jughead sighed, getting really aggravated at this point.

"I'm just admiring this beauty." He replied licking his lips. I grew uncomfortable and Jughead noticed.

"This beauty that is my girlfriend. So leave her alone." Jughead growled protectively. Malachi continued to look at me. I rolled my eyes waiting for Archie and V to come into the lounge. Suddenly an unexpected visitor came into the lounge. Reggie Mantle. He walked in and noticed the thick tension. So thick you could cut it with a knife. He glanced between me, Jug, and Malachi.

"Why don't you leave Malachi. There's no need for you. Plus shouldn't you be tending to your wounds?" Reggie asked as a few of his minions approached. Malachi looked confused and to be completely honest I was confused as well.

"What wounds?" Malachi asked.

"These ones." Reggie said throwing a punch. His minions threw a couple as well and by the time they were done Malachi was halfway out the door with a bloody, bruised face and a black eye. I smiled thankfully at Reggie.

"Thank you." I said. Reggie smiled.

"Yeah. Thanks." Jug said getting up and giving him a bro hug. Reggie chuckled.

"Of course." he replied waling out. Almost immediately after Archie and V came into the lounge and sat on the couch across from jug and I, where Malachi had previously been sitting. Archie and V examined the couch

"What's with the blood?" V asked with a disgusted look on her face.

"And the sweat, and spit." Archie added.

"Yeah... About that..."
