Homecoming

Betty's POV
Homecoming is fast approaching. Me and jug have been talking on the phone about it and he says he doesn't know if he can go. He says Jelly has chemo and he's made it routine to drive her home from it, he can't miss it. I said I'm fine but am I really? I miss him so much and I was looking forward to seeing my boyfriend and going to homecoming with him. But this is his family and it trumps over everything. "Ok. Well have fun ok Jug. I'll miss you." I Said.

"I miss you too. I'm really sorry. I'll see if I can." He Said over the phone.

"Ok. Bye. I love you."

"Love you too," He Said before hanging up. I sighed and flopped back on my bed. I looked in the mirror and saw my dress hanging on my dresser. I'd been planning this homecoming for a while and I was ecstatic to show Juggie my new dress. I sighed.

It's finally homecoming. I'm in the girls locker room with v getting ready. I sighed as a tear rolled down my face. V zipped up my outfit.

"It'll be ok b." She Said.

"I hope so. I just wish he could see me." I sighed. She nodded and pulled me into a hug.

"Ready vixens! Chop chop! Enough of the chit chat it's time to get on the field!" Cheryl yelled. I sighed. We ran out cheering. I instantly noticed a gray beanie in the crowd. I gasped. I immediately ran over to him and jumped up. I wrapped my legs around his waist and started sobbing.

"You're here!" I cried.

"I am Betty. I am. Omg I love you." He sighed. I buried my head in the crook of his neck and cried.

"I love you too." I sobbed. He gave me one last squeeze before setting me down.

"Now go. Cheer for your team baby." He Said. I nodded. I rushed about five feet away before coming back and kissing his cheek.

"Don't leave! I'll be back!" I said running off smiling like a goof. He just chuckled. That made my entire day brighter. It was the best cheering I'd done all season. When the game was over I rushed back to Jug and gave him a hug. He hugged me back before Archie and v came over.

"Hey Jughead!" They said.

"Hey guys." He replied.

"We should get ready," v Said. I nodded. We all rushed off to my house. The boys went to Archie's but me and v came into mine. I got into my black dress. It had a v neckline and a crossed back. It flowed to my knees. We went downstairs and saw the boys waiting patiently for us.

"Wow Betts... you... omg." Jug gasped. I giggled before planting a kiss on his cheek.

"Alright kids get in for a picture!" My Mom said. My mom held up her phone and we got pictures. After like ten hours of photos we left the house. (There was a break in between the game and hc so they could get ready) We got to the school and walked into the gym. It was beautiful.

"You want to dance?" Jug Asked. I nodded. We rushed into the dance floor and swayed side by side. I rested my head on his chest. I sighed and smiled. "What's got you all smiley gorgeous?" He asked chuckling.

"You." I Said. He blushed. "I love you so so much," I Said.

"I love you more." He replied. We danced the night away eating food and having fun. After a while of dancing me and Jug sat down. I sat down on his lap.

"Are you going to have to leave tonight?" I Asked sadly.

"Not until tomorrow night betts." He said smiling. I grinned widely and wrapped my arms around him. I kissed him and smiled.

"I love you." I Said.

"I love you too." He replied.

"Promise me you'll visit." I begged.

"I promise Juliet." He smiled and kissed my lips. Soon after we left the party.
