Chapter 15: Family Reunion

~Charlotte~

Eli walked outside as I stood there on the side of the house holding a blanket around my arms. "Hey."

"Oh, so he speaks. You're finally talking to me now?"
I stare at him and he see's my dried tears.

"Yes. I was a dick, and I'm sorry. Just tell me what to do. I thought about it and- I want to help."

I shake my head at him and looked away. How can I tell him?

"Charlotte?"

"I can't. But your gonna find out eventually."
So I turned around as tears began evolving once more in my eyes.

"I lost it."

His face became pale and I know he is a vampire but this was like dead pale like Terra's lifeless body pale.

His lips almost blue I swear looked like.

"What...?"

"I- I had a miscarriage."
He then rolled his fists into balls and scared what he was about to do.

Until he began to cry and pulled me in for a hug and sobbed so loud. I never heard Eli cry for real like this before.
Not since Savanna's death.

I hated seeing him like this, putting all of the pressure on him. Then taking what we could of had away...

"It's my fault."
He said.

"No it's mine. I should of tried harder."
He pulls away shaking his head.

"You shouldn't blame yourself. We need to just accept that this happened because it was- wasn't meant to be."

~Venus~

I was now on guard and Aron left to go guard outside.
Seth and Mason came in and Seth didn't even look at me.

I then made a crooked smile.

"Hey Mason can you give us a minute?" He nodded and patted Seth's back whispering. Goodluck.

I then put my hands in my front pockets and shrug my shoulders.
"Hey look about what happened-"

"No need to explain." He cut me off.

"What?"

"Look, I see the way you look at him. So if you want to be with him I can't stop you."
I smiled at him and then frowned immediately after seeing Aron holding the back of a older mans collar.

"Aron who is this?"
He looked like he was in his 50s. He had blonde hair and had grey streaks going throughout it.

His eyes blue and he was tall and thin for his age. He was really well built and had no wrinkles.

"I'm your father. Your biological father."
I then shake my head.

"No, I know my real father and he is dead. I killed him after all he did."

Then the man who claimed to be my father shook his head. "I can prove it to you. You where given up for adoption because I was-"

"You where what? Can you speak?" Said Aron. That's a great way to talk to your possible future father in law.

"I didn't want to take that responsibility. So I agreed. Your mother just wanted you to live a normal life."

I then felt a tear fall from my face.

"You did nothing. After all these years you show up here why?"

"I-"

"WHY!?"

He then sighed. "I heard you where living here from around the town. I heard your adopted dad died."

"Yeah you didn't give me a good life, you made it hell! I had to be sexually abused, physically, because of YOU! YOU YOUR SO SELFISH AND SUCH A HORRIBLE DAD! I HATE YOU! AND GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE!"

Aron and Seth looked stunned and shocked of ny reaction. Then he dug in his pocket and pulled out a picture of him he was younger looking.
He held a baby in his arms.

"That's you."
I silently cried and he gave it to me.

"Keep it, I just want you to know. I am sorry. For everything Venus. I am sorry I am such a horrible person, I admit I do bad things. But I love you."
He then hiccups a sob. ''I love you baby girl."

I then avoided his look as he left but listened to every word.
"V?" Aron said as he came over and I threw my arms around him.

"It's ok alright? He is gone."
