I sighed again as I look out the window for the 100th time. This was getting boring, like really boring. Like boring as in I wanted to bang my head against the window, boring.
I sighed again and started to say what I saw out loud.
"Tree, tree, grass, cloud, sun, tree, ooh rabbit! Umm, tree, tre-"
"What the hell are you doing?" Zadian said.
"Well, since we're going to be here for a while I thought I would make this trip fun!" I said excitedly, while bouncing up and down in my seat.
"And how exactly was that 'making it fun'?" He said while taking his hands off the steering wheel to make quotation marks with his fingers.
"Hands on the wheel!" I snapped. "And for your information, I was pointing out what I saw, okay? 'Cause I'm cool like that."
"Yeah. You're something alright." He mumbled. To which he received a slap on the shoulder.
"Hey! I'm sitting right here genius." I said while crossing my arms and slumping down in my seat. The seat belt was starting to dig into my neck, but hell would freeze over before I took it off.
That's the weird thing about me. I don't mind being in cars, but I have to have a seat belt on. If I don't, I will literally have a panic attack.
I turned the channel on the radio until I stopped on a good song. And by 'good' I mean ridiculous.
"Oooh! Zadian! It's your favorite song!" I screeched as I turned up the volume. He groaned and tried to turn it down. I just slapped his hand away and started to sing along.
"Hey, I just met you,
And this is crazy,
But here's my number,
So call me maybe!"
Zadian just sat there and laughed at me while I flipped my head around, causing my carmel hair to fly every where. I stopped signing and looked at him.
"Sing with me." I demanded.
"Serena, you know how much I hate this song. I will not sing it just to entertain your pea sized brain.
I gasped and pretended to cry. "How can you say that! My brain is normal sized! Take it back!"
He started to laugh again and after 5 minutes of me poking and begging, he started to sing.
"Hey, I just met you,
And this is crazy,
But here's my number,
So call me maybe!"
And that's how an hour of our car trip went. Singing the random songs on the radio, and receiving weird looks from the cars on the highway.
One of the driver even did a double take. We were just signing along to Katy Perry, when a car rolls up next to us. They looked and went back to driving. But like 5 seconds later they turned and gave us a 'WTF?' look. I laughed and pulled a face. She blushed and zoomed ahead.
We laughed for about 10 minutes on the reaction she gave us.
~~~
A few hours later, my bladder wouldn't shut up. It was like with every bump in the road, it was getting harder to hold in.
